Jinye Chanyi Vacation Hotel

very nice friendly clean hotel directly in the tourism area. Vegetarian restaurant serve very nice fried rice. Location is super convenient to big Buddha. Environment is very clean, cosy with garden and pond.

The hotel is in the scenic area so it is a little tricky to get to, otherwise it's in a nice quite ancient street which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan china. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area and the street is lined with historic style buildings and large trees. Making it a great place to walk, relax and people watch. The hotel will contact you prior to arrival and arrange for a free electric shuttle pick you up. There are very few food options at and near the hotel. The hotel has a vegetarian set meal that's on the pricey side as is everything in the immediate area. However its a short 10 - 20 minute walk across the bridge where there are several options as well as shops. And if you go in the evening you can see the people dancing in along the boardwalk,.karaoke, or playing cards well as get your ears cleaned, a pedicure, or a haircut. The breakfast was a buffet on one day featuring chinese dishes as fried eggs and toast. On the 2nd day it was a set very traditional chinese breakfast. The room was nice with its own heating/ cooling system. Overall the cleaning could have been better, especially for the price point. The staff was fine. Better attention then you would get in any north american hotel, but in other hotels we recieved over the top service so even through the service was great there is room for improvement. Even though everyone comes to this area for the buddha, i would reccomend coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of china. You can walk to the buddha statue or boat tour from the hotel or there is a cheap electric shuttle 15y that you can ride all day of you are walked out.

We loved the place so much that it was heartbreaking to leave it so early. It’s so beautiful and relaxing, it’s the perfect place to stay in Leshan.. Everyone is welcoming (Xiao Xiao is adorable).. The restaurant is excellent and they even prepared us something to eat when we came back late from Emeishan. Highly recommanded !!

We are travelling from Canada! This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in! It is right in the heart of Leshan Buddha tourist area. The ticket office is just a short walk away. The hotel is finsihed with modern yet rustic touches! The details are so stunning, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was spotless! The breakfast buffet included in the stay was very delicious with a lot of options and an espresso machine. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful! Xiaoting was available on WeChat for the questions we had! There is also a Luckin right outside the doors! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Only Remark is that on one day was breakfast buffet. The next day was a preselected plate. I assume because there was just a few guests. The rest was fine.
