My wife and I spent a week at this hotel in the last week of may. We had a wonderful holiday and we were very satisfied with the new hotel. We used most of the facilities including the fitness room, massage, the pool, the restaurant and so on. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and seemed very professional. The rooms are big, but some of them don't have a balcony, so make sure you order a room that suits your needs. The hotel is in a quiet area 10 km from Mythilini, so I would recommend renting a car if you want to go to restaurants in the evening. A really beautiful hotel with a fantastic view.

We had booked 6 nights here and although I wasn’t expecting Six Senses (and since it’s a new hotel) I was very disappointed. Firstly, WiFi is only accessible in the main building (reception and food area). Not around the pool area and not in the rooms outside the main building where most rooms are located. We told the staff twice and they did not seem to care very much. They gave me another room in the main building when they realized I really needed WiFi, a room which reeked of smoke so bad I had to air it out for days. The sheets had not been changed and I found hair on the pillow and the sheets when I had checked in. Some rooms in the main building have beautiful views but no balcony and there are no hooks in the bathrooms to hang your swimsuits and wet towels. The breakfast was VERY sad. Pineapple and peaches from a can at a 5 star hotel? I don’t think so. And box-juices and Kelloggs cornflakes. No effort was made to make it even a tiny bit fresh and nice except for warm bake-off buns that you can buy at Lidl. The staff in the spa was 30 min late for an appointment. Toilet paper was not refilled in the spa. The front desk staff incl. the manager did not reply to a question I tried to get an answer to for 3 days. I wanted to leave earlier and asked for a refund of just 1 night. That was impossible. At dinner, the salad with shrimps had tiny shrimps from a can! The choice of music is definitely not what you want in a spa hotel or wellness place. At the pool area, they played the local radio with latest hits and advertisements every ten minutes and so loud I had to ask them to lower the volume several times. We were at most 5 people around the pool and no partying teenagers. Just adults who wanted to listen to the birds and relax. The hotel itself is beautiful architecturally and it has some potential, but oh my is there a ton that needs to change here. For example don’t write the room nr ON the room key, so that if you loose it anybody can walk right into your room. You don’t place the safety box so high up that nobody can reach it. If you offer slippers, make sure they are not the cheapest you can find made out of paper thinner than coffee-filters. The interior design is all over the place. The restaurant/breakfast area feels like a school canteen. I can go on. Management, you desperately need to train your staff and get a professional chef. Find somebody who likes food and cares about the business. If you continue to call this a “wellness retreat and spa”, I am sure that people will continue to be very upset. A sauna and a pool will not make up for it all. And make an effort for the environment, please stop with all the plastic bottles and especially small plastic toiletries! It’s 2024. This is NOT a 5 star hotel regardless. And there is nothing I would dare to call a beach across the road. I felt ripped off.

This place truly is magical. It has absolutely everything you could possibly ask for in a retreat - extraordinary food, amazing variety of wellness services and activities, great indoor and outdoor pool and divine spa for a myriad of known and new and exciting treatments. The staff were always friendly and helpful, from booking to check out staff and they actually care about you. The property is new, the rooms are clean and spacious. The location is bliss.

It is supposed to be a five star hotel but it’s not even close. The breakfast was barely edible, the food was of very low quality and there were no fruit or vegetables in the buffet. We booked two junior suites for our stay and couldn’t sleep because there was a traditional Greek night with very loud music right under our rooms that kept going until 11:45 at night and even after it finished there were very loud noises of people talking. Despite my constant complaining that night they didn’t lower the music and we were not offered the option to move to another room that would be less noisy. As I asked other guests in the morning they also had difficulty sleeping as they could hear the loud music even though their rooms were further away. Only one member of the staff apologized of the staff members I spoke to and we were not compensated in any way for our discomfort. The seafront is not appropriate for swimming. There is an indoor pool that you have to pay to use for 30 minutes!!!! It has never occurred to me to pay to use the pool in any other hotel in the world I have stayed in. Also the rooms don’t have any basic facilities such as coffee machine, or kettle to make tea. Room service was not available early in the morning that we needed to get some coffee. It’s far from the city center and you definitely need to have a car to move around. Overall it was very disappointing…

We had a very nice vacation here. The hotel is nearby airport and the city but quiet enough with beach across the road and possibilities for a walk. New hotel with big and modern rooms. We get a lot of extra services. Friendly service. We will come back.

The rooms were large and of sufficient size. The refrigerator was not cooling adequately. We asked for a baby bed in the room. They brought a clean and very big park bed. There was no kettle in the room, but when asked, they brought it right away. There was no water in the room. The pool was a little small, but the temperature and cleanliness were good. It was a little too shallow. It was ideal for children. The breakfast was extremely poor. It was too weak and inadequate to compare with other Greek islands. You can go directly to the sea from the road in front of the hotel, but there is no changing cabin, shower and toilet, there is no food and beverage service, even those who park their car can come and enter with you, so it is not a reserved place or area for the hotel. The spa was very poor, the massage was the worst we have ever had. The staff were very friendly. They approached every problem with a solution-oriented approach. The hotel is very far from the sightseeing spots of Mytilene, so if you don't want to go 1.5 hours and come back for 1.5 hours, you should choose a hotel in another location. Molivos or Petra might be logical alternatives.

Very disappointing experience. We were promised a room with many amenities when we prepaid, we received a room that can best be described as staff quarters. What is worse, the staff never accepted the misrepresentation, never apologized. The hotel is very badly designed, very unfit for purpose. Stay away, is my advice!
