Hotel Le Panoramic offers incredible views, a functional kitchenette, and fair prices. Pros: We ate most of our meals outside to enjoy the wonderful view from our patio. The pool is pretty good and also offers a great view. The hotel is well located and has free parking for guests. The room we stayed in was well designed, there are floor to ceiling curtains you can use for privacy as the doors are glass. Cons: Our room included only body wash - no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion to be found. We also didn't have a blanket on our bed and were told there were no blankets available when we asked for one. We turned the air conditioning off and didn't get cold but it was surprising. Misc: Although the kitchen has basic cookware, dishes, cutlery, stove, and oven, you'll need to purchase basic supplies like salt, paper towels, oil, etc. There is a bar or club nearby that plays extremely loud music - it's not terrible when you're inside but maybe bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast is included on your first morning - we received two pain au chocolat, two croissants, and a demi baguette as well as coffee, milk, and juice in our room. The smart TV includes 10 local channels but no streaming services are included.

We stayed at Le Panoramic for 7 days and it was just lovely. The room with kitchen was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed and the view from our bungalow was amazing! Everyone at reception was extremely friendly and incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We can only recommend this place to anyone who is looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing with a real family atmosphere. Hiring a car is essential if you want to get around and explore. The boat service to Fort to France is really convenient, too. Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed at Le Panoramic as part of out New Year trip to Martinique and Barbados in Jan 2023. We loved the hotel and its rooms. it is located on a hill with a view of the beach, the pier and the hills surrounding the lovely town. The rooms are very clean and have good layout and most of them have wonderful private balconies and well equipped. there is no restaurant at the premises however there are plenty of grocery shopping options and there are restaurants by the lovely beach 5min walk down the hill. We have driven to all main places and tourist attractions in Martinique and see this hotel as one of the best options to stay on the island provided that you have your own car (rented car) as the village is relatively far from the capital city and northern part of the island and tricky to access via public transport. Also be aware of traffic jams on motorways around and close the airport and plan at least 45min to drive from the hotel to the airport by car / taxi. We also liked the ferry which serves the village and the capital cisty of FDF and other nearby resorts every 30min for EUR7 return.

Can only say good things about Hotel Panoramic. Anse d'Ane is a pretty and typical bay in the Southern part of Martinique. It is possible to have day trips to anywhere on the island from this base although the frequent traffic congestion around Lamartin/Fort de France can lead to extended journey times. To visit the North of the island you are advised to get up very early indeed. Obviously you need a rental car and the nature of Martinique tourism makes car rental almost mandatory. On mainland Europe Hotel Panoramic would be called an aparthotel. The accommodation is excellent, reasonably modern, clean, and comfortable. They are studio apartments with an entirely adequate kitchen and a large living area that both lead out through separate sliding french windows to a balcony large enough for a table with chairs. The balcony is not suitable for a sun lounger, nor is there one, but there is a swimming pool area with loungers a few steps away. The air-con is good, the bed is kingsize and firm. The hotel website is accurate. A small welcome pack of juice, butter, coffee, jam, milk, sugar is placed in the kitchen for your arrival and fresh baked bread is delivered to your room around 7.30am complimentary on your first morning. This is available (for a charge) every morning by arrangement. The tap water is fine to drink. The wifi works well and if you are hopeless at tech (like me) the staff will get you logged on. Some of the apartments have a better aspect/view than others, and have more or less privacy. It is advisable to discuss your preferences with the hotel at the time of your booking to avoid any disappointments. My one observation of significance is that my emails to the hotel got lost or went to spam. Not only prior to booking but also when I was onsite and forwarding my flight boarding pass which they kindly offered to print for me. It was only when they emailed me that my replies appeared on their system. This is frustrating as I would have liked to have booked directly rather than using a travel website to make my reservation. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I have no reservations about giving this destination a 5 star review.

Very nice and quiet location, view on the bay (but not by the sea). Services (supermarket, boulangerie, tabac shops) in a walking distance. Clean apartments, with furniture in good condition. Very kind and helpful people at reception. The kitchen is well equipped except for basic things such as salt, oil, sugar (provided only upon request). Hairdryer upon request. Very kind to give us late checkout free of charge: much appreciated.

Although I loved our room at Hotel Le Panoramic (I think it was #305), I overlooked certain amenities when I booked. This hotel caters to guests who like to cook in or self-serve. First off, there is no restaurant, bar or breakfast service. The French pastries offered on arrival were a nice touch. Being located high on the hill with a great view of the bay, you definitely need a car for touring. We didn't know this and were unaware cabs or Ubers were non-existent. Luckily, Monique was a godsend in getting us a car for our stay. Throughout our stay, she was very helpful and professional. Since I was ill during our stay, I found it exhausting to negotiate the long steep walk to the nearest beach and restaurants. If the hotel wishes to appeal to American or older tourists, they might want to offer shuttle service. And it would have been nice to get a cold beer or beverage without making a shopping trip. Possibly a self-serve bar/refrigerator with a honor system could be initiated. The hotel is very nice, but I probably would book near one of the beaches for my next visit.

This was our 4th attempt to visit Martinique and every time we tried, and wanted to split our stay between 2 different areas/hotels on the island, it was Le Panoramic that was our starting point - greatly to the useful reviews the fellow members left here, so for that thank you! This is a great, clean, safe and cozy place with a convenient location to visit beaches, restaurants and explore the south of Martinique - or just chill and enjoy the views from your individual balcony/patio and do nothing too! Location: roads are perfect in Martinique, absolutely best ones we had experienced in the entire Caribbean region and we have been to and driven on almost every single island - take that into consideration as you may split your stay like we did but you can easily stay just here and explore the entire island from here - something I didn't imagine when we were planning/booking this trip. The drive is supper easy from FDF airport - about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the traffic slow downs on the roundabouts (usually in the morning). This region of the island is abundant with many beaches vs. the north of the airport with distilleries/farms/plantations/parks/hiking etc. but there is still plenty to do here and like I said driving is easy so you can do day drips on your own to the farthest part in the north and explore that area even from here. The hotel is located on a hill and while the nice gentleman at the lobby discouraged us from walking up and downhill we actually enjoyed that "little" workout every night to go down to the beachfront and have a Ti Punch and some accras :) There is also an excellent pastry/bakery Pom'Kanel (created separate profile/review here on TA) that you can pick up fresh goods in the morning also walking distance but I recommend driving for that - next door to it is also Carrefour Express (smaller version with limited hours of the big chain) that you can buy anything you may need while on vacation. There is also of course the beach and a ferry dock that takes you to Fort de France if you don't like driving - haven't utilized either as we drove around a lot but if you don't like doing that then you can easily spend your time here in this small region as it's absolutely a full package region (it's somewhat similar to the Pointe du Bout but not as crowded and much fewer business, thus more peaceful and relaxing, at least that was my impression). The person at the front desk speaks good English but be prepared to translate a lot while on the island, we speak multiple languages but French isn't one of them and it was a very challenging 2 week trip to 2 both hardcore French (not to confuse with super touristy and popular among English speaking people St Martin (the French side, not the Dutch St Maarten) and St Barthelemy, we had been to both before and are speaking from experience) islands where nobody (especially on Martinique) other than people at hotels and maybe once or twice at a restaurant spoke English... but hey we mad
