We had a long weekend with 3 generations of family attending. We were on a lake and the weather was perfect. The changing colour of the leaves was reflected on the calm water creating the best memories. Access to 2 kayaks was appreciated due to the unusual warm temperature we experienced at the end of September. The super clean and welcoming hot tub was the icing on the cake at the end of the day. The dining table had 14 comfortable chairs, an ideal spot to celebrate a birthday. The bathrooms were clean and had been renovated recently. Everything looked clean and modern. Three large sofas in the living room were perfect to watch TV or the fireplace. Beds were nice and firm - not a valley to be seen!! Having 2 full fridges was a real plus for all of us for so many days. Lots of parking for all our cars. We have stayed at other locations in the Tremblant area but found this to be the best. Will be visiting again in the future.

Very nice resort, we stayed with a group to go skiing. We are 30+ adults and the owner has falisfied a claim they we destroyed his fridge. After paying considerably for the weekend he now wants us to pay an additional $500 for dammage which was already there. WHAT A SCAMMER, STAY AWAY.

It's my 3rd time at Blueberry Lake and the experience was just wow! Everything was well organized, wood was delivered to us before we arrived and the people went out of their way to make sure we were well served. We forgot to buy coffee and after coming over to bring more wood in the morning we asked what was possible and he said he would try to find a solution. In the middle of a snowstorm he came back and gave us some coffee. This is a nice example of someone who cares for his guests. Thanks and I've already booked another weekend and looking forward to spending some good time there again :)

I usually don’t post reviews but I feel I need to warn people about this place. I book cottages every year, multiple times a year. I have been to Blueberry Lake 3-4 times and had a good time every time. It’s not the best I've been to...but it was Ok. I don’t really go for the luxury but it’s decent for a log house. As of 2019, a new owner took over; Georges Ata. We are a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids). FIRST NIGHT: All good, settled in, everything was fine. My brother in law and his wife and 2 kids slept in the basement bedroom...they complained about mosquito bites the next morning...didn’t think much of it. SECOND NIGHT: Brother in law wakes up in the middle of the night with 3 bed bugs crawling on his shoulder and neck... catches them and places them in a container to show the owner. He has bites all over his body and we sent pictures to Georges and I also told him that we left the bed bugs in a container in the bedroom as proof. We left as soon as possible the next morning and have to hope that these bed bugs are not coming home with us... Georges response to all of this was: "Sorry to hear about this." REALLY?? I was a bit thrown off by his response frankly... it’s not like I'm complaining about a bit of dust on the counters or missing forks…this is a serious issue. He said he will get his professional to look into this. LOL What a joke. I told him that we caught the bed bugs...what more proof does he need? They only come out at night. Anyway, wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt so I decided to wait and see what his "professional" will say. More than a week goes by and after nudging him multiple times he finally responds. He offered us 400$ reimbursement on a 1600$ booking. Also, he’s saying that the picture of the bites we sent him have been looked by a dermatologist and he thinks it’s a medical condition. I didn’t know dermatologist can diagnose patients by looking at a simple picture...lol mind blown. I have seen reviews about the same problem since August...which tells me that he's not planning on fixing this problem and will continue to rent out to people and KIDS knowing that there is a bed bug issue. PLEASE DO NOT RENT A COTTAGE AT BLUEBERRY LAKE! They are not maintaining the cottages properly or the area...if you have kids or no kids for that matter; book somewhere else. It’s very sad because if this place was taken care of properly; it could be great.

Family vacation ..upon arrival Chalet seemed nice kitchen dining and sitting area was clean..bathrooms clean Walking down the staircase seemed like a scene from a horror movie.. large patched of drywall that wasnt painted...stained carpet everywhere ,old sofas ,stained old billard table (no tip on cue sticks)...bedroom and bathroom seemed clean Bedrooms upstairs seemed old but clean..cobwebs on the light fixtures . discovered broken wood underneath mattress as when you sit you cave in.. zero comfort to sleep ..bottom floor..bed was fine UNTIL WE FOUND BED BUGS..!!!!!!!!!!! We immediately took pictures and sent them to the owner GEORGE as we didnt want to sleep in THIS chalet ..we were up all night (night 2)...UNABLE to sleep After numerous texts and voicemails.. Owner Mr George Ata responded with a text "where did you find the bug???" DID NOT OFFER any accomodation or resolution or compensation as his reply was .. "I HAVE NOTHING AVAILABLE FOR YOU " everything is rented and his other response .." my dad can come SPRAY if you want" . ... WHAT DID YOU EXPECT OUR FAMILY TO STAY IN A CHALET WITH BEDBUGS ...and SLEEP IN THE SAME BED WE FOUND IN ?????????? Unacceptable ...WE PAID VERY EXPENSIVE 3 night stay to sleep 1 night on broken beds ..and discover on the 2nd evening going to bed BED BUGS RUINED FAMILY VACATION DUE TO BLUEBERRY LAKE CHALET with BEDBUGS

Arrived at 10pm in the dark. Chalet was as advertised which was good. Bedrooms were spacious. The basement washroom ceiling needed some attention but it worked. Used the BBQ, hot tub, pool table, wifi, TV, laundry, and fire pit. All kitchen appliances worked fine. If you have asthma, keep in mind this place has carpet in all the bedrooms so you will struggle over night. A beautiful, solidly built chalet to spend time with family (8 ppl in our group). Open area to mingle, separate bedrooms for independent quiet time. Went for a short walk to the lake but did not swim or kayak. 20mins drive north and you are in Rouge Riviere town (IGA for groceries) and 10mins drive from Labelle town. Went to swim on the beautiful sand beach at Labelle plage (Rue du Moulin). (Clean beach, clean water and free parking!!!). More kid friendly than the lake and very close to the chalet. Called Georges Ata a few times before booking and during the stay. He always answered the phone (or called back), no matter what time! Your vacation is what you make of it. Stay positive; you will have a good time.
