Stayed at this hotel with a group (Riveria). Hotel well positioned within Sarlat. Hotel only serves continental breakfast but this is with lots of different fruits cheeses meats breads jams yogurt and many more. It is replenished regularly. There is a swimming pool which we did not use. The rooms are all different with lots of storage. The bathroom we had had a large walk in shower with plenty of hot water. I would stay here again if in the area. The staff are very friendly.

Nice hotel, converted distillery. Each bedroom is different. Our room was really big and the bathroom had 2 sinks. The room was cleaned every day. Hotel overall was very clean. Bar in the dining room. Breakfast was very good in a lovely grand room. Continental breakfast which included fresh fruit, walnut cake, brioche and a really nice rhubarb cake as well as plenty of bread, jam, cheese, meats. Wi-Fi was good. Hotel was 5 minute walk from the main square.

The common areas are modernized and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal; likewise, the location is walkable to all of vieux Sarlat. However, the rooms are not very nice. They are old and tired which I found depressing. My mattress was as hard a cement and the decor in my room was tacky and cheap. The staff was very nice.

Comfortable room but tiny bathroom. Nicely located a few blocks from main square, market, shops and restaurants. Our room was in a former distillery but there are few traces of its prior life. Great wide red-carpeted stairway leads to upper floors (there is an small elevator too). Bathrooms are dominated by floor to ceiling blue tiled walls, lovely idea but rather dark. Hotel seems to have a lot of rules and only the night manager was friendly. This is a handy base for touring the Perigord countryside--Lascaux, Domme, Les Eyzies etc. Still tool cold for the pool,

We visited with Overseas Adventure Travel so I do not know the price. Room 16 on the ground floor was the strangest hotel room I have ever stayed in. As you walk into the room there are 2 large sections of shelf=ves and and 2 hanging positions for clothes but only one luggage stand. The bathroom is brand new and elaborately designed but has no place to hang up damp towels except on the top of the door or the glass shower panel. Down a hallway is a small bedroom with 2 twin beds and a huge window. There are no reading lights and no electrical outlets. The desk is tucked away under a stairway like the one where Harry Potter lived. It shares the space with a TV and a refrigerator but there is only one electrical plug so you can only use one at a time and there is no place to plug in a computer or phone charger. Up a flight of 12 steps is a large loft bedroom with a big king sized bed and 2 reading lamps. Again, there are no outlets for computers or charging. The ceiling is so low on both sides that i was constantly hitting my head. My wife and I decided to stay downstairs in the "kiddie beds" to avoid having to navigate the stairs to the bathroom in the dark. On the plus side, the breakfast room was bright and sunny and had a large assortment of items, at the uppeer end of most European breakfast buffets.

Not in the heart of the old town action, but a short walk (a couple of blocks) outside. I had a huge room with a high ceiling. The bathroom was large but relatively dimly lit. There were no towel hooks. I had no problem with the tub shower, but some in our group did - dangerous for some, with no grab bar to step over high tub and shower head very high up on the wall, so high that many in our group could not reach it to use as a hand-held. Air conditioning was weak but Wi-Fi was good. Automatic blackout window shades were neat but a bit tricky to figure out. The safe in my room did not work and no one was available to fix it after the staff left at 6:00 pm, but they did fix it the next day, and made sure to check back with me to ensure I was able to use it. There is a very nice-sized swimming pool with lounge chairs around it. Breakfast was a little hectic and understaffed. Staff was very cordial.

4 of us (2 couples) stayed 3 nights and had a very nice time- rooms are comfortable and air conditioned, breakfast was varied and very good, the pool was very helpful at a time of a heat wave, and being right in Sarlat was great and very convenient- the staff was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating- We strongly recommend the hotel when traveling in the area.

Well located hotel with a swimming pool. There is no parking, parking is complicated on the street, public parking is expensive. The rooms are average, some do not have electrical outlets (there is a kettle but no power outlet!!). The service is lousy, the rooms are cleaned after 4:00 p.m. and you still have to ask at reception. Our friends' room was not redone for two days. At the end of our stay (two rooms and 4 people) , the manager made a commercial gesture: she offered us coffee (we went to help ourselves from the automatic breakfast machine). Housekeeping employee left work at 3:00 p.m. without cleaning our room and wished us "good luck."
