This is a great hotel in the center of town. It has free parking, which is a real plus even in October. The prices are great as well. This is probably because there is no lift. If that's a problem, then this is not your place. We have stayed here before and things have changed a bit. Breakfast is no longer included, available for 16 euros, and---paper cups in the bathroom. Plastic is bad enough, but cardboard is several steps below that. Come on guys--three star hotels don't use cardboard.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times over the last year, most recently in August. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food really is excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The menu offers a pleasant change from the standard Dordogne fayre.

This is a wonderfully managed beautiful historical mansion in the heart of prehistoric country. It's so beautifully situated--in this area every view is like a painting and its restaurant terrace is unrivalled. Standing in front of the hotel, with the bucolic Beune river to your right, the historic Mairie at your back, and the Abri du Musée to your left, nothing could be improved. The restaurant is very good and can be trusted to deliver excellent food and service. I have stayed here before and will again.

We were on the top floor in a standard double. Peeling paint. Worn carpet. Terrible, dated decor. Old furniture. Bathroom very dated and in need of renovation. Bed was okay. Perhaps there are better rooms in this hotel but the rooms we had were terrible.

I stayed here for only one night. I found the hotel to be clean, the rooms comfortable/well appointed and the location perfect. The staff were kind, helpful and efficient as were the wait staff in the restaurant. The food was very good, typical of the region and just what you would expect as a tourist. My waiter was knowledgable about the food and helpful in selecting wine by the glass. My only minor complaint I would bethe lack of a wall bracket for the handheld shower,

HostellerieDuPasseur is an absolute stunning place. It’s full of beautiful details, very cosy, amazing food, great service, most caring staff, lovely ambiance, wonderful atmosphere very friendly to everyone. Vegetarians are looked after very well. Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!

Je recommande ce lieu pour les couples. Le lieu est agréable, en bord de rivière, à proximité de toutes commodités, au pied du musée de la préhistoire, et bien d autres lieux à visiter à moins d1km à pied. Le dîner était excellent, le buffet du petit déjeuner régale tout public. L'accueil et le service sont très agréables. Belle Continuation.

Nous avons apprécié : l’Hotel au bord de la vezere. Le repas du soir en formule demi- pension . Le calme, le style déco des chambres et de l’ensemble de l’hôtel, la salle de bain. 4ème séjour dans cet hôtel. C’est notre étape en Périgord . Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cet établissement pour une soirée étape lors de notre déplacement. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la patronne qui nous a accompagné afin de présenter la chambre très agréable, calme et confortable. Le dîner a été savoureux ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Parking privé apprécié au bord de la Vézère. Etablissement qui peut être recommandé sans problème.
