Madame Vacances les Chalets du Berger

The accommodation was good and had everything you need. Could probably do with an upgrade at some point but everything was clean. The views are amazing and the staff very friendly. I was given a code for the wifi for 4 devices (which you have to pay for) but the wifi was pretty non existent and had to use my phone as a hotspot as I needed to work. Overall a good stay.

Family of 6 (kids 10-17), stayed 5 days in August 2024. The chalet was pretty, clean and well-serviced (the bathroom lightbulb was replaced within a couple of hours of us reporting it had gone, although another day reception was closed so that would have delayed things), layout worked well, beds were comfortable. Although the chalets are quite close together, they still manage to be relatively private. The pool never got really crowded (although was quite full on occasion). La Feclaz is mostly a tourist village so the small local supermarket (the Sherpa) is 5 mins walk, lots of people are willing to help out with English, and some nice walks can be done straight from the chalet.

An idyllic stay. I have never felt more comfortable and taken care of during a holiday away. The chalet was of exceptional quality with beautiful views overlooking the mountains. It was a perfect home away from home, with a kitchen with modern appliances, a comfy living area, cosy bedroom, sparkling bathroom, and a spacious balcony for breakfasts with those glistening snowy mountain views. The property was immaculately cleaned and the grounds expertly maintained by the staff team, and they could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The friendly receptionists were happy to assist with tips on local activities, hikes, and interesting sites. The pool and sauna were maintained at a perfect temperature, and these made a welcome retreat after a fresh morning hike. Where else can you swim with mountain views? Have I mentioned the views? The community felt safe and family friendly, with firework displays, restaurants, and quaint markets selling local produce. Overall the warmth of the staff stays with me, and they made a very restful stay a very beautiful one. Thank you.

Very warm welcome, the chalet was very clean and our bed comfortable, the furniture is solid making for a relaxing stay . The situation is perfect with wonderful views of the mountains . It felt a friendly, safe family place. The swimming pool and Sauna are well maintained and i enjoyed many swims on our vacation. There are shops nearby and some great walks in the forest. We stayed in a Premium and so received a welcome pack of wine, cheese etc. which was a lovely touch. All staff were very accommodating, we will definitely come again.

This place is ideal for a bit of luxury (swimming pool, sauna, games room) surrounded by beautiful mountains. You have your own apartment with kitchen/living area, bedroom, balcony and bathroom. You can also visit the nearby restaurants if you wish. The staff were great, Ingrid was lovely and some some kind soul handed in my lost purse so I was so grateful! Thank you staff! We hope to return one day. ☺️
