We had planned to stay with our pet the weekend that appeared rainy and unpleasant with a storm warning and finally we decided not to go mainly because of how uncomfortable and annoying the rain is for our little dog. Even though we notified them on the same day as our scheduled arrival, they were very kind and understood the circumstance and since they were able to occupy our room with other clients, they did not charge us the amount of the room, thus minimizing the disappoin**ent of not having been able to visit León. 100% friendliness at all times. On the other hand, at the time of the reservation they were already very efficient in offering us the parking reservation and the online check-in. It will definitely be our accommodation when we can go.

Los Templarios is just off the Camino down a side street in the old city of Ponferrada and would be easy to miss. On arrival the receptionist spoke good English and was very helpful. The hotel has a lift which is a welcome amenity after dragging a bag up stairs in many hotels along the Camino. Everything seemed very clean. It was pretty cool outside but the room heating was excellent - in fact almost too good in that it heated the room so quickly that I needed to open the window. The only window looked out on an air shaft and was frosted so that it let in very little light. I guess the frosting is because the windows opposite are fairly close but one could always shut the curtain when necessary and let in a bit more light when privacy is not needed. The room was very small with a big twin bed. It was so small that when I opened my suitcase on the floor the door could not be fully opened. The bathroom had a hand held shower over a half size bath with no shower curtain. A sure recipe for disaster and I had managed to soak most of the room by the time I finished showering. My other grumble concerns the keys and key card. There were 2 keys that were almost identical, one for the room and the other for the front door. There was also a sort of key card used to turn on the power that is attached on the same ring. The power turned off immediately that the key card was removed from the slot plunging the room into darkness and presenting a major challenge to get a key (the right key!) into the key hole to unlock the door. There must be a better option - perhaps separate key rings. There isn't much choice of accommodation in the Ponferrada old city so Los Templarios maybe as good as it gets and in the end it is clean with helpful staff so good enough for a night's stay.

We stay in the Santa Week. It is a simple, clean and bathroom hotel in the room. You are put ameneties but there is no pot dryer. It has parking. And all this in the center of Las Medulas. The museum right in front and the main roads to nothing ... Good price-quality ratio. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

I liked the location,in less than a quarter of an hour walking you reach any point of your interest, we have a very good rest. Quality/price of the very good room(that the cathedral is viewed from the window of the room to far ... was a plus We wanted to enjoy the city and from the hotel it was easy.

I smell to smoke into the room!!!! I didn't offer any solution. I had to be 4 days of work and really not even if I wanted to put an ambient in the room for the hard smell of tobacco!! The Finn week told us the reception that the bar would not open, and put us as a solution at 8 p.m. when we went to the front hospital bar. The cleaning leaves much to desire and the gel of the bathroom and the gel of the hands put the same ( and boot half ....) Really bad experience! Without bad the rest of LEON is very nice .Thank you

The hotel is very comfortable for its location, from which you can easily reach the centre walking distance and offers parking facilities nearby at good conditions. It is a structure that has been restructured (see, for example, in the shower), but which also has many elements that indicate the signs of time: old doors and many destroyed doors, very noisy air conditioning. The most negative note was breakfast: scarce, managed by a person who was virtually inexistent, who has been working all the time for other things than for customers, in a room where there was completely lack of the possibility of having towels, additional glasses.
