Here is a hotel which bases its communication on its "vintage" side and its "old-fashioned" side since this hotel is an old renovated hotel. So let's start with the only 3 positive things. The bar, the “Salon Rojo” restaurant where you eat tapas, are nice and the breakfast is good. The negative things now. At 280 CHF per night in January, you have a rather dated room without wifi (because the hotel is proud to announce that wifi only in the common areas is unifying): Fine, but when you have to work in the room it's is not great, and sometimes 5G goes poorly. Add to that, 12 channels only in German on the TV which doesn't allow you to have a good evening of TV just in case. You also have to add 25 CHF for cleaning your room, otherwise nothing, not even a changed towel. Then you pay 10CHF per day for parking which is right on the street in front of the hotel, which means that the room actually costs you 325 CHF per day with these 2 options. The sauna and the swimming pool are closed and you are told on a paper that the reception has preferential rates to go to the aquatic center instead. I end by telling you that I called reception 4 times from the room in 5 days and that no one ever answers. In summary, the price of a 4 star without the services that go with it. Hence my astonishment to see all these comments which are too positive in my opinion. For this price, there are much better
