Dear ahead team, I spent last weekend with you in your wonderful hotel. What can I say, the relaxation is just as sustainable as your whole concept. You have a beautiful hotel, a great castle garden (which certainly has a lot more to offer in summer and looks even more beautiful), friendly and courteous staff, good rooms that also shine with sustainable details. As a guest, you notice that you are WELCOME and that a lot of thought has been put into the well-being of the guest in advance. Fantastically delicious food with a great selection is available in the "Place to V" restaurant. It is an adventure and a treat for the palate, even for "non" vegans. The varied and delicious breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is a great way to start the day. In the afternoon, a piece of cake and a coffee or tea specialty and just letting your mind wander is simply wonderful relaxation. I will definitely be back.

2 Motorradfahrer aus Hamburg landeten auf ihrer Elbaufwärtsreise für ihre erste Übernachtung in diesem wundervollen Haus. Vorab gesagt, aus der einen geplanten Nacht wurde dann doch lieber eine ganze Woche mit sternförmigen Ausfahrten in die schöne Elblandschaft. Für den ersten Abend hatten wir schon bei der telefonischen Reservierung einen Restauranttisch gebucht. Auf ein rein veganes Angebot dort waren wir überhaupt nicht vorbereitet und befürchteten dann allerlei unsägliche und unansehnliche Ersatznahrungsmittel, halt so, wie man es aus den Veganabteilungen des Lebensmittelhandel kennt. In Kürze, jedes der angebotenen Gerichte war einzigartig und excellent. Leider konnten wir in der Woche nicht alles ausprobieren, da wir bei verschiedenen Gerichten zum Wiederholungstäter wurden. Unglaublich lecker! Und die Getränkekarte mit den hausgemachten Limonaden und dem Naturwein passte uns sehr. Dazu die durchgängige Verwöhnung durch ein ganz junges freundliches Mitarbeiterteam. Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Unsere Zimmer lagen im nahestehenden ehemaligen Lehrerhaus und ließen nichts zu vermissen. Eine eher schlicht gehaltene Einrichtung auf erkennbar höchstem Ausstattungsniveau. Auf Neudeutsch sagt man wohl "besser geht nicht". Gewöhnungsbedürftig war allein das große Frühstücksbufett. Da haben wir uns dann doch zurück gehalten, der Kaffee war sehr lecker und die belgischen Waffeln auch. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und beim Abschied deutlich mit unserem Wiederkommen gedroht. Danke für eine sehr gute Zeit.

Ein sehr alter Auwald mit uralter Burg lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Hotel mit Restaurant und vielen Wellness Möglichkeiten ist ein schöner Ort zum entspannen. Die nachhaltige Einrichtung der Zimmer und hochwertiges gesundes Essen ist seinen Preis wert

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Burg und ihre Lage sind wirklich toll: Ganz besonders gefallen hat uns das Naturparadies, welches durch die Deichrückverlegung in unmittelbarer Nähe geschaffen wurde. Ein weiteres Highlight für uns war das vegane Essen: Vom Frühstücksbuffet über den Kuchen am Nachmittag bis zum Abendessen im Place to V – wir haben selten so lecker gegessen, obwohl meine Frau und ich bisher nicht mal Veganer sind. Und was für ein sympathisches, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Team: Toller Empfang, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service im Restaurant und auf unser kleines Zimmerproblem wurde ausgesprochen entgegenkommend reagiert. Zuletzt noch ein dickes Lob für das nachhaltige Hotelkonzept: Ob veganes, regionales Bio-Essen, die wassersparende Toilettenspülung oder die Bluetooth-Box aus Kork – auch an den zahllosen Details kann man erkennen, dass es die Betreiber ernst meinen mit dem Thema Nachhaltigkeit. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!
