Chetzeron

Location was phenominal, being midway up the mountain we enjoyed wonderful views as well as getting a head start on skiing. Facility was lovely, particularly enjoyed the limited number of guests. Staff were great, very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

The hotel is majestic! The architecture is truly extraordinary. The view from the rooms - WOW! Personally, I didn't like much the dinner menu and the options for vegetarians. They took 'ages' to bring us the check after dinner. However, the breakfast options are very good! Thank you

Great facilities, spectacular view, nice personnel, however not easy to access ( the best way via ski or snowboard). There's no special rate for the parking - you need to use a public parking 2.5 CHF per hour. Fridays evening and Saturday noon are overcrowded in the hotel restaurants.

A great place to spend a couple of nights even out of ski season. Rooms are amazing -- as the restaurant is. There are lots of hiking trails around, a small golf putting range, a badminton net and a pool to enjoy during the day. And views! Breathtaking from everywhere: room, restaurant, pool.

From the first glimpse of the Chetzeron as we walked down the slopes till we waved goodbye we had the most incredible stay at 2112m! While the location and views from every oversized window speak for themselves, the architecture and design of the hotel are truly stunning with every subtle detail carefully considered and expertly executed. Rarely do hotels live up to Instagram and website imagery or do beautiful design hotels have facilities, comfort and truly impeccable service to match their aesthetics – Chetzeron certainly does. The front of house team are the epitome of Swiss efficiency offering the utmost helpful and friendly customer experience. Sami, the most affable owner you are ever likely to meet, takes pleasure in casually chatting with guests when not supporting his staff and is always keen to share anecdotes on how his vision was realised transforming a gondola station into this amazing hotel. I read a quote somewhere that Sami welcomes people not as guests but as friends, well he must be proud that this philosophy is truly reflected by all the staff as we certainly left as friends and can’t wait for a return visit sometime soon. Our stay had so many highlights, everything exceeded our expectations and even as non-skiers the location and travel to and from the idyllic setting was far from an inconvenience but and added adventure and a feature that few locations can offer. Don’t hesitate in making your own fantastic memories 2112m above sea level.

Fantastic luxury alpine experience in a converted lift station Has a James Bond dramatic feel Wonderful staff Superb design Ultimate ski in and out destination Access is by snow cat or you ski there if you’re ready. You can walk down the piste and your luggage is transported for you. The views are the best by a mile.
