Amalia

A cute place, a nice room with comfy beds and a really friendly staff. But really, really, really noisy. We had a room on the garden side, so on the plus side, we hardly heard the traffic noise. But outside our window was a trampoline and one family stayed under our window for over three hours. The noise was just deafening. We couldn’t keep the windows open even though it was hot in the room. We couldn’t nap and we couldn’t concentrate to read. I had to make my phone calls outside. Generally we just tried to stay out of our room (of which we did pay for….). And after they got tired of being outside, they parked next to our door in the cafe, shouting and screaming there. So a tiny wish for Amalia and all the hotelkeepers: please mention the location of the room in its description. We would have loved Amalia if we would have had even a minute of peace. But because our room was situated by the trampoline and the cafe, we literally didn’t hear our own thoughts for the whole visit. We’re nervewracked. (Of course most of the guests are polite and quiet, and we really just had really bad luck. But still we would have preferred a room elsewhere, if we only had known.)
