Booked on 23:15 for that night. While they close their doors at 23:00… Called them and no one of their staff could come do open to door for me. Yes, have had thought about that I would need to call people from the north of The Netherlands to pick me up and sleep at home. While I had a business meeting next day. After a lot of calling could sleep in another hotel in the city.
Pretty bad yeah, it’s gets worse. They didn’t even cancel my booking. I don’t even got the money back

This a great hotel and centrally located in the city of Lelystad. The room we stayed in was spacious with a big comfortable bed. Also the sofa was converted into a bed for our daughter, it was perfect for her. In the same building are 2 restaurants. Parking is right in front of the hotel and the costs are 8 euros per day. When we need to stay another time in Lelystad we will definitely be back here.

Lovely and convenient hotel. We went here to stay the night for a party in Lelystad. Very kind staff. The suite was nicely decorated with a balcony. I really liked the breakfast time, from 07:00 to 11:00, which is great for someone who likes to snooze in the morning (normally I miss the breakfast). Also great is that the check-out time is till 12:00. This gave us some time to play some games and pingpong after breakfast. Location is also very convenient.

Ok budget hotel in Lelystad. Nice People in the reception and nice clean rooms. Close to station and center. A bit outdated and reminiscens of the eighties. So an easy and good price if needed in the area. Breakfast is quite nice with a good option of foods. The wok restaurant on the ground floor is better than you might think 😀.

A well situated hotel near the train station and city center. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The rooms were very spartan, no carpets, minimal old furniture, a garden chair for a desk chair. no thermostat to control room temperature. Strictly "bare bones" The price was not "spartan". quite expensive so the value was poor.

Our room could either ve described as minimalist or spartan. Dipped tables bedside cabinets. Strange lights. No drawers and extremely limited storage. Corridors made one feel in prison (haven't been in prison, but its what I imagine its like). Painted brick walls. Breakfast ok. We had dinner there for four nights. Without doubt we were offered the WORST FOOD EVER EXPERIENCED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. DREADFUL. DISGUSTING. Larer found that they don't nirmally serve evening meals. 5hink they were brought in. Room only cleaned if you ask for it, or after 4 days. Ther are two distinct categories of staff. Those who seemed full time of African Caribbean heritage were hard working, helpful, friendly and wanted to make your stay pleasant. The other group were, I think, part time students. I found them to be uninformed, unhelpful, in one case sarcastic and couldn't care less. Location in town ok, but whole town in middle of nowhere. New, reclaimed land. No character.

The hotel is typical of many that cater primarily for business people but we were part of a tour group so the dynamics between guest and hotel were perhaps different to those that a solo traveler would experience. The checkin was efficient and friendly and there are two lifts to all floors. Our room was clean and functional and had everything we needed, enough storage for our clothes, a safe, tea and coffee facilities and a coffee machine. Also a very efficient shower. No problem with lighting in the corridor or any other public area. The bar service was excellent and there were plenty of comfortable chairs to relax in. In contrast to the previous reviewer I found the meals to be generally very good but somewhat simple as I suspect these were prepared just for our group, normal guests would be directed to the two independent restaurants on the ground floor: a steak house and the ‘Tasty Wok’. The restaurant staff were very helpful and would do all they could to help people with allergies. Breakfast was a very good buffet, if you cannot find what you like here then you are hard to please! I enjoyed my stay.

The property we’re staying in was comfortable, safe & convenient to the shop & easy to get transport. The room was clean & very friendly staff.
The only problem was a bit too far from Amsterdam city.

To be honest, there were a lot of ups and downs for a one night stay, but we walked away happy.
Smooth check in but with a miscommunication about our breakfast in bed that we had specially ordered. The requested baby crib was already in the room but there were also earplugs so you know what that means. The eco friendly wash was out by the sink but there was plenty in the shower. When we went down to clarify the breakfast issue, the very friendly staff promised it would be delivered at 8am.
Slept a bit rocky and definitely needed the earplugs because there was a lot of noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants.
In the morning 8am came and went with no food in sight. At 8.30 called down and they had no idea what we were talking about. They called back a few minutes later and said breakfast was on it's way. 9am came and went with no knock at our door. Toddler was now starving and crying so i called down again (with said screaming toddler on my arm). 5 minutes later...The Most Beautiful Breakfast I Have Ever Seen was rolled into our room. I felt like Juila Roberts in Pretty Woman. It was amazing.
No idea if this was the normal fare or if it was to make up for the mishap, but who cares. We ate like royalty. And to boot they apologized by giving us 20 euros as recompense.
Overall it was a cute little hotel in a central location, perfect for a quick trip to see Lelystad.
