Perfect location for exploring the Sierra de Aralar and Plazaola cycle path. Hotel is a bit old and rickety but that's what you get for a historic building. Room was clean and simple. Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was reasonable but not the best quality.

If you are a historian, and like to visit real life ancient history then this hotel is the place for you. This hotel prides itself on the fact that Ernest Hemmingway visited here, that was also the last time a proper update was done. The walls are so thin, you can hear your neighbour breathe, the beds are so old that I suspect Hemmingway to have slept on the same mattress. The only reason this hotel survives is the restaurant, which we didn't get to see due to it being overbooked everyday. A hundred Spanish ain't stupid so it must be a good restaurant. The noise in this hotel from 8am in the morning untill 01.00am at night is overwhelming, you can hear the cooks working in the kitchen, the spinning of the laundry machines, the screaming around the pool, the walking of people over ancient floors.... it is dreadful.

Hôtel historique qui pourrait être magnifique mais le confort est désastreux, chambre non insonorisée, une literie plus dure qu’une planche de bois et un restaurant vraiment pas bon, sans compter une erreur de caisse pour nous faire payer 2 fois les entrées. Bref cet endroit est à fuir absolument.

Después de un paseo matinal con ml esposa y un matrimonio amigo,entramos a comer,coincidiendo que se celebraba el día de carnaval en la localidad nos ofrecieron un menú carnaval,excelente en cuanto a calidad precio y servicio . Para repetir

Tienen en el restaurante un menú del día con comida casera de toda la vida que no está mal. El comedor es amplio y se ve que ha sido reformado, aunque mantiene el aspecto más tradicional del lugar. Servicio ágil y amable. Hay un pequeño parking al otro lado de la carretera.

Fuimos 16 amigos a la experiencia de fin de semana de detectives. Fue todo genial. El hotel, aunque antiguo, tiene su encanto. El mobiliario es espectacular. Fuimos a pension completa y el menú muy bien. 2 primeros y 2 segundos, comida tradicional, muy sabrosa y con grandes cantidades. El desayuno buffet. Hicimos el misterio de EL ASESINATO DEL PADTRE ÁNGEL. Todo un éxito. Un semana antes nos pasaron los papeles que teníamos cada uno. Alguno tenía que llevar disfraz, otros no, tenía el propio hotel. El misterio empezó el viernes. Todo muy entretenido, divertido, no descansas ni un momento. Muy bien ambientado y las personas que llevan el juego muy majas, atentas. Una experiencia muy agradable. Para repetir.

Acabo de salir de comer,primer contacto con una camarera,( quítate de ahí que te van a dar con la puerta),muy malas formas.. En el comedor no había mucha gente,pero parecía que había carrera de camareras ,hay que cuidar los detalles.Un menú de ,17,30€ ,con tres primeros y tres segundos (Espaguetis,Ensalada Mixta y Puerros con patata de primero, de segundo 'Bacalao',redondo ,y huevos fritos menú muy elaborado. He pedido una sidra ( no sabía que estaba fuera del menú ,pues por un módico precio de 5'50€ te ponen la botella entera)/ Llevamos poco tiempo viviendo en Lekunberri,y estamos conociendo todos los restaurantes y desde luego este es el peor de los que hemos probado, aquí no creo yo que volvamos a repetir. Si hay que poner algo positivo es el entorno porque Lekunberri es precioso por eso nos hemos venido a vivir aquí .
