Lovely.
Parking cost 10CHF per day.
If not further along the main road could have free parking.
Grateful for the good price stated for this hostel.
Own lake access! Better than any resorts.
Relaxed, quiet, lake view, sunset view, mountain views.
There was a wash basin in the four person room, which was really good and convenient. Cupboard for clothes. Two switches (not by bed) for charging purposes.

Absolutely loved this place!
It’s an old building, but everything is very clean and well-maintained.
The atmosphere is super cozy, It’s located slightly away from the typical tourist areas, which makes it peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to get anywhere easily. The town itself is calm and very pleasant to stay in, perfect for spending a whole day just relaxing in the courtyard without going anywhere.
It’s also very accessible from Interlaken or Spiez — just a short 15-minute bus ride.
Even though the bus only comes once an hour, it’s easy to manage if you check the schedule.
Highly recommend this peaceful and charming stay!

Excellent view and very close to bus stop. But if you want to visit interlaken and nearby stops, there in only one bus in that route. If you miss the bus, you’ll have to wait for another hour.
Their breakfast is good with different breads, cereals, cheese and they also serve coffee, two different juices, chocolate drinks. Our breakfast was complementary.

This hostel has a beautiful view and is right on the lake. But the WiFi situation is terrible! No WiFi in the rooms and poor signal in the common area. The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. There’s also one restaurant close by that I could find, so very few places to eat/shop/etc. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to sit on the lake and relax, unplugged. Not great if you are a remote worker that needs quality WiFi and restaurants to sit and work at.
