Was a little disappointed given this was our most expensive accom for the trip. Room was huge & nicely decorated but the place was a bit old & the lobby was rather messy. Bed was comfy & we used the very nice tub. Breakfast was simple & good with excellent views across the valley. The female staff was lovely & gave us green bean soup when we got back after a long day outside. Location was a bit out of the way but the views were gorgeous & really quiet. The accom provided a car to drive us to and fro from the main part of the town. The nice male driver also gave us nice recommendations for dinner.

The B&B is at the top of Yangpai Village. It is better to wait for the guy to pick you up. The scenery is comparable to the observation deck. You can also overlook the B&B from the observation deck, which is very interesting. The design of the B&B viewing platform is very cute, and there are Miao costumes to wear. There are two trails down the mountain, and you can walk and play, which is quite fun! The entire Xijiang Miao Village is under repair and renovation. Whether it is on the mountain or not, there are construction sites even on the main street, so it doesn’t feel extra messy near the B&B.
