Sie mögen knarzende Dielen und steile Holztreppen? Dann sind Sie im Jahrhunderthotel Leipzig, ganz in der Nähe des Völkerschlachtdenkmals, genau richtig. Das Haus verströmt den Charme der guten alten Zeiten. Leider gehört dazu auch eine sehr schmale Duschkabine. Der letzte freie Parkplatz am Haus war meiner. Glück gehabt. Das Restaurant und das Frühstücksbuffet konnte ich aus Zeitgründen leider nicht nutzen und daher nicht bewerten.

Das Zimmer war ansprechend eingerichtet, sauber und das Frühstück ok, die Lage in Laufnähe vom Völkerschlachtdenkmal ist sehr gut. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind beim Hotel vorhanden. Es tut mir leid, aber nun kommt das Negative: die Lage des Hotels über einem griechischen Restaurant- mit Lärm bis in die Nacht - hat unseren Aufenthalt SEHR beeinträchtigt. Ich bin bei einer Städtereise natürlich nur zum schlafen im Zimmer, aber wenn ich genau DAS nicht kann, ist es für mich eine Katastrophe. Zudem war der Hotelflur sehr hellhörig und die anderen Gäste nicht rücksichtsvoll. Ich weiß, dass der Hotelbetreiber gar nichts für seine Gäste kann, aber in einem Hotel in dem nachts nie Personal anwesend ist….. passiert eben genau das: niemand kümmert sich!

Es tut mir leid, so negativ bewerten zu müssen- aber die Lage des Hotels über einem griechischen Restaurant- mit Lärm bis in die Nacht - hat unseren Aufenthalt SEHR beeinträchtigt. Mooi hotel net buiten het centrum, maar met de tramhalte schuin tegenover ben je met lijn 15 voor eu3/pp in het centrum. Jammer dat het hotel maar 4 parkeerplekken heeft. We hebben hem maar op de plek voor het restaurant gezet, anders wist ik het ook niet. Heel vriendelijke vrouw die het perfecte ontbijt verzorg. Verder is er weinig personeel. Via intercom werd de deur geopend en vonden we de sleutel op tafel in onze kamer. Werkte perfect maar een 24uurs receptie vind ik fijner(maar betaal je ook voor). Kamer en bed zijn goed.
