Hotels near Jewry Wall & Roman Baths, Leicester

Excellent location Clean environment Friendly staff members, What else can one expect?

We really loved our experience at this hotel, we made a request for our room to be on the ground floor and also for a fan to be in our room, our request was acknowledged straight away and we were assured we would receive what we asked for, amazing customer service

I was satisfied with the excellent service from the front desk staff. The room was advertised as 35 square meters on Trip.com, but the actual size was different. The room was generally clean and tidy, but it was a bit stuffy during the day because there was no air conditioning. The hotel parking lot is free, and there are plenty of spaces – great! There's also a pub downstairs where you can watch sports.

This Days Inn made a great first impression thanks to its welcoming reception area. The staff at the front desk were friendly, polite, and quick to assist with check-in, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The A/C is not working during our stay. The hotel should have informed us before we booked the room. Clean room.

Clean, plenty parking. Good shower. Only negative was that the sofa bed was not made up for my daughter and took a while for housekeeping to make up the bed. My daughter was very tired as it was nearly 11pm. They did say requests for the bed making had not come through the booking system. She did bring cookies though :) also the EV charger was not working despite several attempts by my husband and checking with the hotel staff so without a charge made out next day travel somewhat inconvenient. One of the reasons for booking the hotel was ev charging and free parking.

The facilities are a bit old and the room's soundproofing isn't great... but overall it's clean and tidy. The price is affordable, and it's close to the train station. The owner is also quite enthusiastic. It's a good deal for a single night's stay.

The soundproofing is very poor. When the door next door is shut loudly, the wall by my bed actually shakes. It has startled me awake several times. The ventilation system is also inadequate. Cigarette smoke from other rooms drifts into my bathroom and bedroom, which made it impossible for me to sleep all night. Opening the window did not help. There was dust on the bedsheets, and there were biscuit crumbs on the chair.

Although the price is cheap, the experience of settling in is not good.

The checking in and out process was simple with no problems. There are ongoing renovations and improvements. The restaurant was closed however delivery options and nearby eateries and COOP mini market close by. Easy access to city center by bus or a 30 minute walk along the main road through the Victoria park near the University campus. It has a convenient location with an affordable price with free parking available.
