Been to Mallories a few times now and always enjoyed the experience. Would have gave 5 stars for this visit but for a few little disappointments. We went for Sunday lunch this time, upon getting there we were told that they had ran out of lamb, not the end of the world but two of our party were looking forward to having that dish. We gave a drinks order one of which we asked for no ice, it came with ice, again not the end of the world but disappointed. When the drinks came the lady served two of them by holding the top of the glass rim, I’m afraid it’s a pet hate of mine. I had the beef which came with a £3 supplement, it was a cut which came from a steak portion, I would have preferred it carved from a beef joint but I must say what I had was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The service was good, not intrusive but there when needed. We all love the ambiance and decor coupled with the country farmhouse appeal of the building itself. Would we go again, absolutely.

Me and my three friends came today for a Sunday roast, and we were all shocked that we live so close to this gem, but have never visited before. The food was outstanding, cocktails were very tasty, staff were helpful and friendly, and pricing was more than reasonable. Will definitely be returning!

The food was excellent….the service not so! The bar staff were not engaging and had no idea about service and didn’t think to take away empty glasses! We had to ask for additional drinks at the table! The waitress was polite and did check that we had everything when she served us.

We had a fantastic pre-wedding celebration. The Sunday lunch menu was delicious, beautifully presented, and offered plenty of variety. Service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended for a special occasion!

My husband and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch yesterday (Friday lunchtime.) The decor is beautiful, the service was fantastic and the meal was one of the best we’ve had in a long long time. The flavours of each dish were simply incredible. We cannot wait to return!

The dinning room is very nicely decorated and comfortable although it felt a little close to other diners wouldn't be suitable for an intimate dinner. Food was nice but a little over priced for what we had and the menu was somewhat limited certainly for a mid-week evening meal.

I visited a few months ago with my girlfriend and decided to take my dad for Father’s Day. Both times I’ve gone on a Sunday and it’s been the best Sunday lunch I’ve found around Leicester. £29 for 3 courses so whilst its not cheap, I’ve found it to be in line price wise with a lot of the nicer pubs in and around Leicester - only I would say this has a fine dining twist that puts it above the others I’ve been to. The staff have been really friendly and helpful both times - most recently they went to fetch their personal phone charger for me to use when it would have been easy to just say sorry they didn’t have any behind the bar.

A really lovely Sunday lunch to celebrate Fathers Day. Our first visit as a family of 4 & we’ll definitely be back! Reasonably priced, great service, good portions & a good kids menu for our fussy 13 year old. The roast beef was beautiful! The fussy eater has already said she’ll try it next time as it was more like a fillet of beef steak (her favourite!). Thanks

How have I only just discovered this place? Unbelievable food and service. Relaxing setting. Loved the little details like the expanding towels (which my friend thought was a marshmallow). Highly recommend, I will be back very soon to try the Sunday menu
