Empire Hotel

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at, dirty, no tv, I was put on the 3rd floor and I'm in a wheel chair and theres no lift. Staff are miserable and unhelpful. Never again.

Stayed here with friends for a birthday, when we got to the checking desk we was told by the staff we wasn’t a loud a key to our own room to lock the door , they kept the key. We had to keep our valuables in the car, the walls were disgusting covered in excrement and what looked like bogeys spit or other bodily fluids! The sheets were disgusting, bath room was mouldy and dirty, only a kettle in the room with a small wardrobe. The place seemed uneasy and people walking around at all hours making noise, we didn’t stay there as we were worried for our lives! No refunds given and reassured by the front desk them keeping the door key was normal procedure! We left and did not stay the night AVOID AT ALL COST! Do not waste money here . Staff were see smoking in the free rooms and doing illegal things and speaking to them they said they have s*x with each other

Actually would rate it 0/5. The carpet on the stairs was filthy and the smell not good. The door to my room was full of holes and the room itself very basic and not clean. Shower room very basic too. Room door wouldn’t close. The tea/coffee maker was a kettle but with no tea bags/coffee that I could see. When I first got there, no-one in reception, I know they need comfort breaks. But when she came back, completely ignored me at first, then the phone rang, took the call without even acknowledging I was there. Would not recommend at all. It wasn’t expensive so didn’t expect luxury, but the basics would have been nice. Hence I booked out and am now in another hotel
