St Martins Lodge

The room was lovely and clean and decorated really nice but it's a complete sweatbox i was on the second floor. There is no air conditioning and the dyson fan did nothing in the current temperatures so I wouldn't come back which is a shame as you get free car parking even for our van which is really convenient but honestly the heat in the room is unbearable we're working in Leicester for a few months but we will probably go back to previous hotels as they had air conditioning and more spacious. My room was on the small side but I can't fault the decor or cleansiness its just the heat is unbearable.

Visiting Leicester for the cricket. Only stayed one night and the place was fine despite the slightly confusing check in, in a different building. My room was on the ground floor so had frosted glass which was ok for one night but I reckon it would have driven me mad had I been staying longer. It's nice to have a view.

Lovely decor, powerful shower, fridge in the room, coffee machine, Dyson fan, etc. Very pleasant staff too. Location was awesome too, probably the nicest area of Leicester, with great restaurants nearby. Room was a little bit small, but I would definitely go back.

St Martin's Lodge is the perfect place to stay to explore the historic heart of Leicester. It is literally a minute's walk from the Cathedral and Richard III Visitor Centre and just a couple more minutes from the Lanes with its many cafes, pubs and restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe double room, which was extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed, but still retaining the charm and features of the building. Check in at St Martin's House, just across the lane, was easy and efficient and having car parking included during our stay was a real positive. Whilst breakfast wasn't provided, there was a good supply of teas, coffees and water in the room and many lovely places nearby to eat. I wish that we could have stayed longer and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful hotel and also very affordable. Booked the double room for one night. Room was spotless! Decor was fab. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. I arranged a late check out to 1pm, which was £20. I then had an unexpected medical results call scheduled for 1pm which I needed privacy for, I phoned reception to ask if I could extend by 30 mins, they were very very kind and allowed me the extra time at no extra cost. Thank you so much, if I come to Leicester again I would definitely stay again!

A fantastic place to stay with very nice members of staff and will go above and beyond to help with adjustments to plans when they arise. I have stay at this location more than twice over the last three years. I would recommend a wonderful place to stay and has parking included in stay price.
