Family room is poor size, Unable to heat so we froze during the knight as the ac heating is centrally controlled Breakfast was the highlight nothing bad to say about that, the room was a standard double with beds crammed in to make it a family room this made it very cramped

I have stayed in many premier inn hotels over the years, and have always found them to be warm and welcoming places to stay for the odd night. Whilst always offering a very comfy bed and value for money. Sadly on this occasion this tired , cold, run down hotel didn’t match my previous visits. The hotel is situated next to a large cemetery!! Not a great view to wake up too lol. The rooms are in need of repainting and a spruce up. Our room was literally Baltic, and turning on the air con to warm it up was so loud it was impossible to sleep with it on. Luckily the saving grace was the usual comfy bed which did help improve the overall rating but otherwise a very sad room. If you do stay here make sure you ask for a room on the second floor. Otherwise you may be kept awake at night by what sounds like wildebeests stomping overhead . As the sound proofing between the floors is non existent. There is no restaurant or bar at this hotel !!! Only a breakfast restaurant. So if you want to eat or have a drink there is a pub 1 minute away . The hotel seemed to be staffed by one night manager who couldn’t be bothered to tell you any information that you may need whilst staying . So overall not the best experience. There are plenty of premier inn hotels around this area , so I’d probably try one of those instead if I were you.

Nice place to stay. Everyone was friendly. Stepping into the shower was a huge step. Ok for us but maybe not an older person. Clean and comfy beds. We ate breakfast there it was plentiful. Very quiet location a nice restaurant just across the parking lot

Other than the perpetual fear of finding Lenny Henry in the bath with a small yellow duck ,you always know what you get with Premier Inn. Clean Minimalist Limited welcome tray No showercaps And don’t look down the sink plug hole ! Leicester central stuck rigidly to those rules and although the lady on evening reception duty appeared somewhat distracted her morning colleague balanced the experience. My one reflection for the ears of senior managers relates to the bags used in the bin . I was most disconcerted to see my soggy teabag flying back towards me as it attempted to rebound out of the disposal bucket. The bags are too small and I have raised this at other Premier Inn establishments. Be very grateful, my older wife was not with me as this would’ve lead to tensions during the visit. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was very pleasant although the tomatoes needed slightly longer under the grill to try and give them some form of browning. The breakfast ladies were very welcoming and for that I wish to express gratitude . Happy Easter when it comes

Hotel was very good and had a great sleep. The breakfast was very good and has lot of varieties. We always choose Premier Inn for our stay, tried others but find Premier has got good rooms and excellent breakfast. We would recommend premier Inn.
