The room was private and everything we hoped for! Breakfast was fantastic and you could choose to eat in the dining room or in your room. The private patio was beautiful loved the landscaping and the property! The innkeeper was both helpful, available and unobtrusive. Highly recommend!

Charming relaxing Cottage. Very Relaxing and beautifully appointed. The owners always make you feel welcome and the food is delicious. A great find!! and a great spot for exploring surrounding areas.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to get away, but close enough to the vinyards, Foxwoods and Mystic Abbys Lantern is the place to go. The breakfast is amazing, and you can have it delivered to your room or in the dining room. The grounds are beautiful.

Around many activities to do as a couple or family but nice&quiet around the inn.Beautiful room with a balcony for relaxing.The grounds are just as beautiful.The staff was very friendly and welcoming.In room breakfast was awesome.Different choices to make on a day to day basis.I would definitely recommend Abby’s Lantern Hill Inn.

Coming from NYC hustle & bustle, noise and crowds, this is the perfect getaway. I absolutely loved my room and the property at Abbeys. I loved the decor of the room, the cleanliness & the service. Getting to and from Mystic & Mohegan was so easy and we can not wait to go back.

Upon arrival my wife and I met the host/owner, Erika. She is a very nice person, with a warm welcoming spirit. We stayed in the Southwest room which is just off the dining area where a delicious breakfast is served each morning. They are ready to cater to your dietary needs if able to do so. Later that evening I met Peter, who had an equal calming spirit about him. Both Erika and Peter are great hosts. Our room was just as pictured in the photos. Nicely appointed with a refrigerator and microwave and a single serve Keurig. My One thing as a tall person the bathroom sink was below average height. And as big guy the shower was a tad tight. Perhaps what you would experience in a camper. Loved the single jacuzzi tub. Would have been nice as a two person but both the misses and myself made use of it. If you're looking for a place to unwind and get away from the cares of life for a weekend then look no further. Abbey's Lantern Inn is your place!

Such a lovely property. If you want country and woods this is a peaceful place for that. Close to everything. Minutes to foxwood and Mohegan Sun. Breakfast was tummy. Easy to find as well. We had the country room. Nice little balcony to sit out on.
