We drove here, so we were very grateful for some of the info supplied in other reviews. Basically, we communicated with the hotel a few days before, but we were told to drive to the front door (ignoring the restrictions on access hours as the hotel sorts the permit stuff out for you afterwards)...it is not an easy door to find. We drove in via Porta Napali, to Via Principe de Savoie, turning right into Via Umberto I (do not use GoogleMaps' route!). There is an entryphone with the hotel name in 'tiny', but no big signs. Look for an old wooden double door as soon as you turn, almost immediately opposite a cafe with lots of outdoor seating called SouthEast Cafe. We tucked our car in opposite the doors and rang the bell. Then it was all easy as the hotel staff took over! Hotel, rooms, breakfast, rooftop bar.... all beautiful. Great and friendly service. Brilliant location as well.
