Pine River Ranch B&B

The room was perfectly cozy for a lovely weekend away in the snow. The property was blissful and serene. The add ons were a 6/10. The s’mores could have one or two more servings available for the price, the experience was fun. The cheese board was lovely and delicious. The snack goodies I feel were lacking, I think I excepted something more fun and unique considering how close to Leavenworth, but it was still a good variety. Breakfast was delicious and very convenient. My only feedback for the room itself was there was a few dusty cobwebs that should be handled during a routine cleaning and there was caulking split around the tub that could be handled during a off season/ weekend maintenance. Overall great experience, definitely recommend.

Easy to find. Good instructions. Easy entry and parking in Lodgepole suite. Heat and lights on....thanks! Basic decor and furniture but we were there for the nature and environment, which was magnificent. With the coffeemaker, microwave, minifridge, mini-sink, and some creativity and a cooler we did just fine for food. Bed comfy, walk in shower nice, heated bathroom floors really a treat. Breakfasts were delicious...a little earlier option might be nice but hey it's a vacation. We really enjoyed Nason Ridge trail for a vigorous XC ski outing (~ 1500' gain; with spouse at the mellower golf/ski resort option, same Sno-Park) and the Icicle Creek road-end area (no Sno-Park permit required, beautiful logging road style flat XC skiing). Dead quiet, fresh snow falling, beautiful grounds...fit the bill perfectly for us for a quick getaway from the big city.

The property was great. ******* was the issue. It shows a different room than the one you're booking.

Comfort and attention to detail, peaceful and private. You can see the owners and staff really care for their property. Just lovely!

We went for a wedding and the staff was rude from the beginning. You can not check in until 4pm. We arrived 10 minutes early because my significant other was in the bridal party and the rehearsal was at 4 followed by dinner at 5. We asked to park since near our room. The younger guy said no we had to park in the field for all guest. When I traded to explain we are staying at the ranch. His tone was rude and he rolled his eyes at me. The rest of our weekend was like that. And our shower in our room, did not have hot water. It seemed like it was broken. We got cold showers. I would not have our wedding there nor stay there again.

I was thoroughly impressed by our stay and it was quite a sight! I loved the privacy and how accommodating the staff was! Thank you!

There were thoughtful touches of luxury throughout: gas fireplace, giant shower, bathrobes, silky sheets. There was a patio with deer outside our window and wind in the pine trees. Breakfast was brought to our door with a delicious omelet, fresh fruit, juice, and just-right hash browns.

For my wife’s and my 10th wedding anniversary, I booked 2 nights at Pine River Ranch with their “Country and Western Package”. Their webpage described the package as “Experience a day as a cowpoke, complete with horseback riding, local beer or wine, and a special gift to remember your stay.” The details of the package said it included “A day of trail riding.” It turns out, the trail ride was only 90-minutes long. We were both very surprised and disappointed when the ride was over so soon. When I asked Patrick if it was supposed to be that short, he said ‘yes’ and that most folks were pretty sore after 90 minutes and probably couldn’t handle a full day. He claimed that the description on the web page wasn’t meant to mean a literal day but more of a figurative ‘your day’. Not sure what that means. When we got home, I wrote to Patrick and suggested that he update his web page to say that the ride is only 90-minutes long so others wouldn’t experience the same disappoin**ent as we did. His response was, “I sent the information to our marketing team so they can make some updates.” That was over a month ago (June 4, 2022) and nothing has been updated. So, I’m writing this review so that others don’t make the same assumption we did. That said, the cabin was comfortable and cute. The breakfasts were OK. The 9am breakfast with a 10am check-out time felt very rushed. Though, Patrick using the gas-powered ****-whacker outside our cabin window at 9:30am helped motivate us to get going. No one else seemed to be staying in any of the other cabins, so I have no clue why he couldn’t have ****-whacked elsewhere until after we left.
