Location: Situated in a quiet, forested area, offering privacy and a peaceful environment. Some reviews highlight proximity to the airport and proximity to the Domaine de la Petite Forêt, though it is 2–3 km from the town center and beach.

My wife and I arrived for a two night stay, to be told by the receptionist that she could not find our booking. I showed her my confirmation and she then discovered that the booking had been cancelled on their system ( a system issue as it turned out!). She then called the manager who arrived, did not acknowledge us, spoke to the receptionist in French whilst he worked on the computer for around 10 minutes. He then handed me a key card and proceeded to walk away - without saying a word to us! My wife asked him for his name (Jan) and asked for his full name which was unintelligible! After Walt’s few paces he returned and demanded to know why we wanted his name! My wife explained that she was unhappy that he had not acknowledged us, had not apologised and had not explained what the issue was. He then became very defensive and aggressive shouting at us and saying that we were rude and aggressive. We could not believe what we were hearing. After going to the room, we decided that we did not want to stay in this hotel and handed back the keys. A shocking experience and not what an Accor member would expect from this chain.

This hotel had a great chance of getting a 5* review, but it failed miserably. Good points: Great location, great looking hotels, the rooms were nice, the breakfast staff are fantastic. Bad points: Having to pay an additional charge for parking! Miserable and unhelpful reception staff (wouldn’t even book a taxi for me). Not having any evening meals available after a long days travel, we were only offered charcuterie and cheese for dinner. I’ll never return to this dump.

Major reason to avoid this hotel unless you are using the nearby airport: Accor have built it in a non-existent road so you can't find it. Put Avenue des Canadiens into your sat-nav which then brings you to roundabout 100 metres from the hotel and its neighbours (all-new complex) A pity the reservation site does not tell you about this major issue, made all the worse as it is miles from the town centre and beach so not in an area where many hotels are. They only allow guests to have their rooms from 16.30 until 11.00 which is 2.5 hours fewer than most hotels in Accor group. No tissues provided in bathroom, unlike all other of this groups hotels we have stayed in. No free tea/coffee or facilities for making it, only a bottle of water. Rooms good and quiet, staff pleasant, breakfast good but over-all poor value for money as we stayed in a Mercure 4-star in centre of Honfleur which was cheaper. The 8 euro parking charge should be waived for a hotel this far away from everything. Le Touquet is not well-served by this over-charging for its fancy reputation. Stay somewhere else. Accor group please take remedial action!

We were lucky enough to arrive on the night of the inauguration party for this very new complex of three hotels. Free parking and plenty of it. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, even though we arrived about an hour before 4pm check in this was no problem. Second floor room was spotlessly clean with one of the most comfortable huge beds we have ever slept in. The balcony was a very welcome addition at an additional fee. Very efficient air conditioning (30 degrees outside all the time we were there). The room was a little basic otherwise, considering the price. Tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge would be the usual in this price range. The opening ceremony was a nice extra! Beautiful outdoor seating area, especially useful as the weather was scorching during our four nights there. The included breakfast was quite remarkable. Stunning presentation and a veritable selection of very fresh local things. The breads and cheeses were particularly good. And the freshly squeezed orange and apple juices were out of this world. Location is quite private, no passing traffic. It's a reasonable pavement walk through the forest, passing some beautiful high end holiday homes into town, but really well worth it to do a bit of sight seeing on the way. Le Touquet is quite one of the nicest French beach towns in our opinion. We can't wait to return to this little haven.

Room had an unfinished concrete ceiling with stains on it. No water was supplied in room. Room was clean but very basic. Staff were not really bothered when we reported our concerns. Breakfast was good though. Expensive - Expected more value for money for the price paid. Would not stay there again.

Lovely new hotel, very good restaurant. We chose this due to the closure of the Ibis Tunnel sous La Manche hotel, most impressed. We spoke to the manager, very nice man, most passionate about the hotel and brand. will use this hotel in future. Tip : follow the road signs, not your sat. nav.

Ben on a tort !
