It is a very rare experience to be able to stay overnight on the island. There is no elevator and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase.
The sheets and rooms were clean.
There were numerous small insects by the window. Breakfast was simple western food, but fine. The cheese and prosciutto ham were delicious.
The staff was friendly and helpful with smiles for directions and cab arrangements.

It was a hotel in Mont Saint Michel. I don't think the location is better than this. The hotel itself was clean and nice.
