Campanile Paris Sud - Porte d'Italie

Le Kremlin-Bicetre|0.66km from city centre
My Girlfriend and I slept at this hotel for three nights, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was pretty shabby - we were asked upon check-in at 9 pm to provide a 150 euro deposit, which was a surprise as this was not mentioned on any of the booking information, and caused additional stress, as we thought we had the exact amount of euros available in cash to pay for the room. It's brash requesting a deposit on a room already in such a poor and dated condition. We had no problems with the return of the deposit. However, we were prudent and took photos of the room upon arrival to ensure we protected our deposit; I recommend always doing this, being a Building Surveyor by profession. On the third evening of our stay, the manager was rude and defensive and said as we were checked in already, other guests took her priority; this was despite her staff pre-arranging this time with us so that we could raise our queries with her; my girlfriend had appeared to have been charged twice for our room. They, therefore, wasted our time. No apologies were offered; the manager seemed to have no care. However, John and Yasmine were helpful at reception, assisting us with checking out, so kudos to them. The saying buy cheap pay twice does apply here, but on reflection, we paid 285 euros for three nights; this is not cheap for a budget hotel and fails to reflect the quality of the room or service delivered we would expect at this price, at 180 euros the dilapidation would not have been a problem.

Air conditioning is still not working although there is some air ventilation blowing and a fan. Lucliky the weather is less hot (32 deg/27 deg) when I am there, so there's no need to open window at night, but obviously not too comfortable. Otherwise most facilities are ok, however they are not the original condition when they were rated 4*. This hotel should be rated 3* now. Location is fine if you are using public transport pass, so can catch bus 47 or walk from metro station. Going to city center taking maximum 30 minutes. We often walk back at midnight and street is bright and safe.

Ibis hotel I feel that I have a lot of say, haha, this trip in France is basically selected ibis, although small, but complete facilities, air conditioning to force, service enthusiasm, high cost performance, this location in Paris can also After all, the same price to live in the city center can only be old-fashioned hotels, air conditioning is not the kind, the hotel in the thirteen districts, many stores have Chinese signs, watching is also very kind, from the subway station back to the hotel about 10 minutes, get off at porte d'Italie station or porte de choisy station on line 7, walk past the road, feel the Italie station is a little closer, the hotel is surrounded by big supermarkets, shopping malls, there are many small restaurants, hotels I forgot to take it inside, just like other Ibis, small but fully equipped, very comfortable, the front desk is very warm, luggage after check-out, rest in the downstairs, breakfast recommended, cost-effective
Ibis Budget Paris Porte d'Italie Ouest

It is a budget hotel. The room was small BUT there was room to put clothes away, a small desk area, a tv, a shower, a separate toilet and a sink. It was clean and warm. The bed was comfy. I had no complaints whatsoever. I didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t comment. The staff were really helpful and they have dispensing machine downstairs if you’re peckish or thirsty. They also had a dispensing machine for emergency items (I bought a plug adaptor from it). It is a bit of a walk from the metro (Porte d’Italie), about 7 minutes. Not a picturesque location either but totally easy to access and within walking distance of all amenities. If you’re strapped for cash, it’s a good hotel.
