We arrived in Le Havre and had lots of bags with us, the hotel is a perfect location from the station, and a lovely walk to the beach about 25 minutes through very pretty streets. The rooms are a great size, not big but very functional, the decoration is very modern and fun, with a big sea creature theme, very secure but simple key cards which you had to use in the lift and your door which ensures no one who wasn’t staying there could be in the hallways. There wasn’t any kitchen ware in the room, but in the corridor you could make teas and coffee anytime .It was very hot outside, but the rooms had great air conditioning which was quite quiet, nothing with the hotel but the price was great, cheaper than any other hotel we stayed in but it was by far the nicest we went to. Highly recommend :)

We had a mixed experience at the Jost Hotel Le Havre. Our family room was clean and comfortable and our two children were delighted with their bunk beds in the wall! We ate in the food court and all really enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The big negative for us was the music playing loudly until 2am which we could hear very clearly in our room, even though we were on the third floor! This didn't make for a good nights sleep. We spoke to the receptionist about it and he pretty much shrugged his shoulders and said they needed to improve their noise insulation! So although some bits of our stay were good, we wouldn't stay again. For us the noise was a real problem.

Mixed opinion: The positive points: -Excellent welcome from the staff, very pleasant and professional. -Very close to the SNCF station and public transport, buses and trams. -You can easily eat a meal there, very decent and affordable food -Code lockers for small luggage during the day -Many books available throughout the hotel Negative points: -In standard rooms for two people , no shower room, the shower cabin is directly installed in the room without any partition, where the one who takes the shower must not be modest because there is no privacy. This system, which allows you to save space or appear "trendy" has been abandoned in hotels which had implemented it in other countries. -The breakfast buffet is very varied but some products are of fairly average quality. The egg cooking plates work very poorly and should be repaired.

This is our 2nd weekend at Jost and always on top... We tried the Sunday morning brunch and were not disappointed... Quality and quantity... What more could you ask for? Magnificent tiramissu at the end...we left our place with regret for the 2nd service which was beginning. A great experience that we will repeat.

Hotel giovanile e ben gestito. Personale gentilissimo ed affabile. Camera piccola,ma ben arredata e moderna. La sala della colazione è praticamente un punto di incontro dei giovani la sera dove si può bere o cenare gustando diverse cucine, dalla cucina cinese alla pizza, ai panini e patatine e anche il sushi. Davvero una formula vincente. Consigliatissimo
