The location offers stunning bay views and is perfect for walking. Guests appreciate the delicious breakfast and helpful staff. However, some may find the terrace dining option limited.

I came for a quiet weekend. And it was a mistake . It is family hotel meaning kids screaming, running around even after dinner and early morning. So if you are looking for a place to sleep peacefully or a romantic weekend then this is not the place. Rooms are very small and bathrooms even smaller. Toilets are way too high and uncomfortable due to lack of space. Also some bathrooms have sliding doors which don’t shut properly and others have huge gaps. So had to use the toilets in the corridor’s. Just one place to hang towels and that too very high. So not the best experience and the weekend ruined. Breakfast severely over priced. Very basic. Would have been better and cheaper to buy from the local bakery. You pay for the view and the friendly staff. View you can get from outside without living in the hotel and you can always come here for dinner or drink. And to top it all, during payment, no one even asked if we had a good stay. So definitely not recommended ! For the rest, the search for a good hotel continues.

This is a fantastic restaurant and hotel! The food is authentic, fresh, and traditional in the best way. The service is super super friendly. We have received the kindest treatment, when after a dinner here, we appeared to have parked our car in a private garage (not belonging to Les Tourelles) and after dinner the garage turned out to be closed (meaning we could not retrieve our car). Our accommodation was at half an hour drive by car, and I was stranded with my two kids in Le Crotoy without access to a taxi as everything was closed. The reception at Les Tourelles helped us locate an emergency number to our accommodation (the keys to the accommodation were in the car) and a member of staff was kind enough to not only drive us to our accomodation (half an hour drive), but also to pick us up the next day before breakfast to retrieve our car. A true life saver! Separate from this special service, the food and the location are most special to visit, and you will have a lovely time and most enjoyable evening. We thank Les Tourelles very much!

I have known this place for at least 25 years but now the formula just seems a bit tired. Still love the decor which has stayed exactly the same with shades of Farrow & Ball. However the guest entrance and reception no longer feel fit for purpose as there is nowhere to stand. No one was on reception when we arrived despite phoning ahead to say when we would arrive and the barman had to disappear and find someone. Tiny scraps of paper with wifi passwords and door codes seemed very unprofessional. The new positioning of the sitting room seems to be a mistake as one of the joys was a view of the bay. Our room was tiny but pleasant, in fact the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom and the armchair precluded the use of the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable but one flat pillow was insufficient. The view of the bay was beautiful though. The dinner was very disappointing, starters okay and desserts acceptable but mains were nasty. My fish special was anything but. A dish of Three small bits of fish in a floury bechamel and a couple of carrots that is then unsuccessfully passed through a microwave does not justify an extra charge on a set menu. All 3 friends left half of their fish as they did not enjoy it. The breakfast was okay but at 15€ per person really nothing special. Only one juice (apple, don’t like it) eggs you have to boil yourself and self-catering coffee all point to cost-saving measures. The previous management team made this place a destination experience but it doesn’t feel that way now. I probably wouldn’t bother again, and I feel sad about that.

Myself & my wife plus a friend went to the restaurant for lunch on the 18th April, our friend had visited a week before & said how wonderful it was! We live just under an hour away, looking forward to it, I have to say, myself & my wife were a little disappointed. The setting is wonderful, you look out on the Bay, but it was more to do about the food. I do not like to write negative comments because I think people often like to moan, I don’t. Our main problem was that the food was cold, also, wrong steaks were given to wrong people & the food on their 35 euro menu was not that impressive, however, we had a surprising experience from a lovely young couple behind us who had two young wonderfully behaved children (an Anglo French couple) & when we left, I said to them how impressed I was with their children’s behaviour (just normal kids) that they were credit to you, & also how nice it was to hear young children speaking both English & French together. With respect to the food, 3 out of 5, for that young couple behind me 5 out of 5!

Very much a tourist hotel but mostly European guests, few staff even the younger ones spoke French and while I know I Should speak French better while visiting France this did make for a little awkwardness. The rooms were clean enough but a bit tired, we paid extra for a sea view with balcony which hadn’t seen much in the way of maintenance recently but this did not detract from the lovely views or the interesting quaintness to the ambiance of this hotel.

Very happy I discovered this little gem. The best aspect of it, is the staff, and human it is. They are warm and welcoming, but also everything is thought for customers l, they have a play room for kids, a microwave available for warming up baby food, a proper kids bathroom and also have a fantastic terrace for non family crowds who will want to have a drink with a great view. Room was good, a little noisy but very comfortable and big, the bath is great. We had dinner at the restaurant and although there was an issue with our deserts, they came to talk to us about delays etc which felt a good way to handle it. Food was fresh and good, plate of cheese was good cheese, definitely not bought from the supermarket. I don't think it's part of a big chain and I hope it will remain this way.

We booked a sea view room, which was on the second floor. It was rather small, but adequate. The bathroom was fairly modern, but the only downside was that there was no proper shower. There was a shower attachment in the bath, but the only place to fix it was at hip height, which made showering very awkward. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were good. We only had dinner here once, because the menu did not change while we were there, but there were several good restaurants in le Crotoy. The Baie de Somme was a new discovery for us and we loved it. It is so peaceful and the views are lovely.
