That gives this apartment the unique mixture of bourgeoisie flavor and vineyard taste with high ceiling rooms in the sleeping area and visible wooden supports in the living area. The majestic fireplace and the integrated library give the living room, partially dug into the rock, its final cozy touch.The fully equipped kitchen is built in Provence style and overlooks the terrace. The luminous veranda overlooks the terrace and the vineyards.On the ground floor we further find a large double bed room with the main bathroom including a bath, a shower and a Wc, completely renovated, giving birth to a beautiful stonewall as in ancient times. Near the kitchen we have a shower room with the washing machine. On the first floor we have another double bed room and two further rooms with each two single beds, as well as a second Wc.The terrace itself has a surface of approx. 60 sqm and lies to a large extend in the shade of a 100-year-old plane-tree, with a nice panoramic view on the vineyards. In former times it served as a storage place for the Mas. Together with an architect, we gave it a new destiny. Today we present Panisse as a very charming, comfortably furnished and well-equipped space with a private terrace protected by a Provençal pergola.The fully equipped open kitchen has been elegantly integrated into the living room. The wooden structure of the roof has been kept visible just like the stone build wall. Every square cm of surface has been preciously planned in order to optimize the comfort of our holiday makers. In the living room, you benefit from a large and comfortable sofa-bed. The children’s room next door is equipped with two bunk beds. A shower room and separate Wc complete the setting.Opening the large window panes first thing in the morning will offer you a great view on the swimming pool. Le Castellet - Apartment Fanny, with a surface of 90 sqm, is located at the back of the Mas du Galantin and occupies a portion built between the 17th and the 18th century. It previously gave shelter to the vineyard workers during the season. This is reflected in the pleasant distribution of the rooms, starting with the fully renovated living/dining room. The wooden structure of the roof has been kept visible just like the stone build wall.The renovated well-equipped kitchen has a very nice view on the vineyards. In the sleeping rooms (one with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom with Wc, one with two bunk beds), the simplicity of the ancient times goes well together with the vividly colored fabrics.One of the sleeping rooms has direct access to the private 25 sqm patio-terrace where the plancha-fans will be delighted by the perfectly working installations. The place hosting the well-equipped kitchen is the oldest unit of the farmhouse and very charming. All walls of the apartment are painted in the tradition with warm colors and all furniture is painted in the Provence style.Fabrics are from “les Olivades”, a very famous Provençal factory from Tarascon.The large living/dining room with a table for 6 people is the masterpiece of Marius with its panoramic view and its large fireplace. There are three sleeping rooms of which two preserved the proportions of the ancient times (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and one is mansard-roofed (can be use with a double or two single beds).There are two private terraces: one lies at the shade of a typical Provençal pergola furnished with a wrought iron table for 6 persons. It overlooks the peaceful neighborhood on one hand and a part of the swimming-pool on the other. Spent a night at the hotel whilst in the area on business and what a wonderful experience it was. Certainly a paradise to escape to for a few days R&R. Probably the little things that make the biggest difference, the imposing entrance through the gates and welcome from the staff, the welcome card and mini blender in your minibar with fresh berries etc. was a particularly welcome touch. The recently 3 starred restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday, but the Sans Felice restaurant was excellent and the service good despite being very busy, including a very large family party. Had it been slow, there is always the amazing view across the valley towards the coast and village of Castellet to admire. Breakfast was equally enjoyable. Personally, I would have liked a desk to be able to work from in the room, however as it was June, the weather perfect (for a Brit!), the room terrace was a great place to work from as you can see. Recommend having a car if more than one night.
