Hotel Giulietta Romeo

Booked this hotel based on attractive reviewer photos and reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Well run, helpful staff and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and more than adequate for a hotel of this rating. Set in attractive grounds with tempting pool which unfortunately was a little too cold for us, despite the warm weather. Free bicycles available to hire to explore the delightful surrounding location. Easy access on foot to Lasize centre and it's many lovely shops, restaurants and ferry port. Would recommend. This hotel is probably the best I have ever stayed in, and unless 5 star hotels are your customary stay, it is unbeateable. Its curb appeal is very inviting as you approach the entrance, with trees and shrubs all around, and a lovely water feature at the entrance. Check in was painless and executed by such friendly and knowledgable staff. We arived too early for us to go immediately to our room, but we were able to deposit our travelling cases etc. and explore the surrounding area. Our room was beautifully clean and tidy, and the excellent Maids were so very happy, smiling, courteous and happy to help in any way possible. The room had ample space for the two of us, with extremely comfortsable beds.Only two draw backs, which were fairly minor, and easily overcome. The trelevision had a multitude of German channels, a few other European channels and just one news channel in English, but who watches TV on holiday anyeway? We had a kettle, and, three types of infusion were supplied. However, we British enjoy English tea, which was not provided in our room. We had brought our own brand of tea, so problem overcome, but we had to keep taking up milk sachets form the Breakfast Room. The Bathroom facilities left nothing to be desired, and always kept spotlessly clean. The array of food available for Breakfast was amazing, catering for every taste, and nationality's preferances, and I am pleased to say that English Breakfast Tea sachets were available, as well as about 20 other infusions. The Proprietor, and/or his wife were always on duty in the Breakfast Room to help and advise as necessary. Outside is situated a very inviting pool, with plenty of sun loungers spaced around it and the surrounding grassed area. Snacks were served by very obliging staff throughout any stay in this area. The Bar area, inside the Hotel, and adjacent to the Breakfast Room, was very well appointed with comfortable seating, and drinks and snacks available until quite late in the evening, again, with very fiendly staff to oblige. I do not know whether everbody received such treatment, but on our departure, as we entered our taxi to the airport, the Proprietor thanked us, hoping to see us next year, shaking our party of 4 by the hand. Such a lovely gesture.

Excellent hotel .My 5 visit. Pool and Garden area possibly the nicest I have been to and I have been to many. Immaculate inside and out.Location to old town ferries restaurants etc couldn't be better.Staff lovely.

This hotel is a 10/10 Location, staff, breakfast, rooms, cleanliness. There is nothing that I would change. We have been for three years now and already booked for next year.

Outstanding hotel in excellent location! Beautiful pool and gardens, beautiful decor inside. Incredibly clean restaurant with good quality food. Warm and friendly reception and staff. Better than many 4 and even 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in! We will be back!
