Truly beautiful place, visited whilst at the Alley, my son loved the swimming pool after a hard day! Breakfast was amazing, what surprised me most is the attention to detail, the hosts had thought of everything! Beautifully decorated, so elegant, yet cosy. Thank you for having us!

Spacious room, well appointed, lovely shower. Very pleasant rural location convenient for Stamford. Super breakfast not to be missed! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. Box of shoe polish a nice touch. Hair drier etc.

This was our second stay at Spanhoe Lodge. Again a very warm welcome from friendly and efficient staff, who did everything to make our stay pleasant . The room we stayed in was clean , warm, and very homely , decoration was excellent , and the modern bathroom so well appointed with every convenience. My partner and I really , really enjoy staying there and you can totally relax . I do not hesitate to recommend this great place to stay. Also , so many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area. We had one evening meal during our 2 day stay, which was excellent , but as the owners state for evening meals is “ pub food” but very good pub food I would like to add. The Breakfasts are really filling with much choice . No complaints there! Thank you Reece and team for making us welcome. We certainly will return for more Spanhoe hospitality.

This was my third visit. From my point of view the Lodge is an ideal place to stay on a family visit. The rooms are very good and the staff are always helpfu It is a bit of a hidden gem. I wish it had been open in the 90s when I frequently visited the area.

Could do better. The rooms were nice enough but a little tired. The bin hadn’t been emptied in my room. The evening meal was extremely average, particularly for a “Festive” menu. Line caught cod it may have been, but out of a cardboard frozen box ? Really! Breakfast however was excellent.

We attended a private function at this establishment and decided to stay over to save the drive home. The stay was wonderful and relaxing. The staff made us feel very welcome. The luscious christmas decorations made it extra special - we certainly felt that Christmas had started. The buffet at the private event was second to none. Our room was luxurious: the bathroom was amazing with a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast the following morning was quite possibly the best breakfast we've had in years. ...we WILL be going back!

We just love Spanhoe Lodge, it's a great little escape for a weekend away. The pool is a must in the summer months. The food is delicious, served by friendly staff. We always feel very welcome there and have been many times. Santa's grotto is amazing!!

From discussing all my expectations and needs, having our dinner prepared and serving was great, relaxing in the lounge and after in the games room for joyful competitions at the end of night the bedrooms are so comfortable, breakfast was presented perfectly and was delicious I can totally recommend Spanhoe Lodge
