I can honestly say I have never had an experience quite like this one. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is a positive thing. But….this meant that they couldn’t provide the promised hot breakfast in the morning. Again, understandable, but they offered either a to-go breakfast or a $8 gift card to a restaurant across the street. Problem was that $8 was inadequate. I ordered oatmeal, fruits, and coffee and had to pay out of pocket (pic attached). Again, not a big deal. The room phone had a sign: “check out at 12 noon.” I called the front desk to verify. Nope, 11am. I asked if I could have until noon. “I am sorry, but we have given out all of our allotted late check-outs for the day. We are allowed 3 and we already gave 4.” Never experienced that before. Then, I got a hard knock at my door just before 10am. It was housekeeping. They wanted to clean my room. While I was still in it. An hour before I was supposed to check out. Finally, the shower had low water pressure, and the water was lukewarm. This hotel is not well run, and the staff took no effort. The one positive: it’s in a great location in Massillon.

Property was hard to access due to renovation. Water was off when we tried to take a shower and use the toilet about 7:00 a.m . Property was clean and the room was attractive and comfortable.

We checked in at 3pm and we were sent to room 304. Directly above us were men doing construction . From hammering to scraping to using loud drills. Our room was shaking the noose sounded like it was in the bathroom . It was so loud we could not call the front desk to complain. My husband went downstairs to the front desk to have is moved and he was told to bad that's what we got. No more rooms available. So l looked on line and the sight said there were a few rooms left. Finally we got a call saying they were gonna move us to the floor below. Which they did but it was still loud . They said the website said they were under construction which it did not. Either way not the best experience. Our drive was long and a nap did not happen there was no way with that awful noise and diesel smell permeating in our room .

This is a catch 22. The place is great. They are in progress of some needed upgrades but unfortunately our stay coincided with renovation. The noise from 8am thru day was horrible. But the staff was great. Very apologetic. I have no issues with using this Hampton again as long as the renovations are over

Check-in at the property was very quick and easy. You have to use your room key in the elevator to get access to the floors to your rooms. Which i thought gave a nice feeling of additional security. The breakfast was really good as well. Checkout was done in seconds. Which was really nice. If you're in tbe Massillon area & need a place to rest your head. I highly recommend this property.

Front desk was helpful, the hotel was quiet, the room comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good.

Very nice staff. Clean. Good breakfast and clean eating area. Nice decor. Did not care for driving through parking garage to get to motel as the ceiling was low and pickup truck only had couple of inches of clearance.

Very quiet in the room and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast options were great too with lots of seating.
