We stayed at the Iberostar Selection Creta Marine on the 11th July 2025 for one week in room number 802. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere but the two Iberostar hotels are large and it was like a mini resort in its self, with beach pools, harbour with boat trips and banana boat jet skis rides all at hand, they even had a waterpark in the Iberostar Panoramas hotel side. We were upgraded to a swim up pool room with a sea view and also a view looking onto the main pool, which was great! After check in you and your luggage are taken to your room in the golf buggy car,(at 100 mile an hour around the corners hanging on for dear life with no seat belts on !!) On check in you are supposed to receive a welcome drink, a cold wet hand towel and women receive a red rose we received NONE of these!! Rooms were ok and the bathroom was really nice with a walk in shower, rooms are adequate for two people but a bit squashed for three people. There were plenty of sun beds scattered all over around the several pools on the beaches and on the grassed areas, Pool towels are free for the all-inclusive guests not sure about the other pay as you go guests and can be changed daily and are looked after by the animation team and the towels are not removed from your sunbeds EXCEPT on a Tuesday which is the animations team day off this is when Falu who works for the hotel goes around and removes towels off all unoccupied sunbeds!! This only causes arguments and frustration between hotel guests when they return to their sunbeds to find somebody else lying on their sunbeds and negative feedback for the hotel!! Peoples towels and PERSONNAL belonging should not be touched or removed by anybody!! Mini bus transfer from the airport took 1 hour and 20 minutes late at night, but took 2 hours on the big bus going back to the airport, picking up all over the place. 105 Euro hotel room tax was payable on check in for three guests in one room for seven nights in a 5 star hotel. The room mini fridge was stocked with 2 local beers, and 4 soft drinks and a bottle of water was replenished free of charge daily, the two bottles of wine however was not restocked even though they should have been as we asked is the wine included and he said yes the man did restock the wine that day but never again. Room service was carried out daily however on one occasion we placed two dirty marked towels on the floor to be exchanged for clean towels only to come back to our room to find that the same two towels had been folded back up and put back onto the sink unit! You can reserve a table on an evening in the main restaurant, the reserved seats are on the right hand side as you go into the restaurant up a couple of steps, we went every night about seven pm and sat at the same seats every night with no problem looking for seats. Sea food is on the menu every day and night, there was not a lot of meat dishes to choose from but plenty of vegetable dishes, food was always piping hot that much you
