It was very noisy and not “soundproof” as listed on the advertisement. We could hear people coughing in the room below and a wedding party going on all night across the sea. Our baby was given a cot that had huge holes in it, she could have gotten seriously injured.

We stayed in Sir Galahad, which was a nice room in itself. The sea view is available from outside the property - or a small window.
Access to the beach was good - and allowed us to go swimming. Please note that the nearby sea acess is rocks, so suitable footwear is needed.
The amenities states a fully functional kitchen. When we stayed, there was a single glass on the worktop. There was no Coffee/tea maker, no Cookware/dishes/utensils, no Electric kettle and no Stovetop.
When taking a shower, the water was barely warm.
I paid 175 Euros for one nights stay - this is not good value for money.

I have just had a lovely 5 night stay here with my 2 children. We stayed in a clean, spacious apar**ent with a balcony (with jacuzzi) overlooking the bay and the temple of Poseidon. We loved watching the yachts come and go in the bay. The view is truly breathtaking. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace after which the children enjoyed playing in the small playground area with slides, swings and a see saw. I loved this peaceful location and we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. We were sad to leave.

this is a lovely hotel very close to the temple of Poseidon. We took a room (I think the Camelot room) for our family of 6 and had plenty of room. There was a full bedroom in back for the parents and the main area had two bunk beds and then an additional bed near the door. The front door to this unit is a very bad design because if you grab the handle and open the door, your fingers get instantly pinched between the door and the frame so we put a towel through the handle to keep hands out of it. There are no blackout shades as far as we could tell and even a skylight in the ceiling so great for natural light but not ideal for sleeping in. There is a nice simple breakfast included and you sit outside with a great view of the water. There is a path leading down to a small, rocky pebble beach. If you swim out from the beach about 50-100 feet you get a great view of the Temple of Poseidon. There were two lovely ladies working the front desk the morning of our checkout and they were very helpful and charming. They even helped us with our bags as our car service was unable to get down the hill to the check-in area. We found this hotel to be very good value for the price.

An enjoyable one night stay spent in Richlieu apar**ent which was spacious, clean, and met our needs. . Close to beach, lovely views from the balcony. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Our host, Mr Dennis, was very welcoming and we enjoyed sitting out for our breakfast.

Perhaps in its heyday it was ok…but right now this accommodation is in need of love and attention to give visitors an experience commensurate with the pricing.

Fantastic location for visiting Cape Sounion! Wonderful view of the Aegean and the Temple of Poseidon from my room. Quiet, relaxing … if you want to get away from all the noise and distractions this is the place! The property manager is very friendly, accommodating, and most interesting to talk to. Breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the sea was wonderful. Skip the big hotel crowd and enjoy a peaceful stay at the Poseidon Beach Villas!

The stay here was fantastic. We were two family’s staying and had an amazing time. The management was especially accommodating and for every request we had they went over and above. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Sounio.
