If you make a last minute reservation in Lavrio, you should know that the hotel is only one option. Don't expect more than a room & shower. It was generally clean but blanket/bedsheet/pillows smelt bad and there has been flood after shower in the bathroom. Nice part of our accomodation was staff who are helpful and smiling.

very good! The transfer is scheduled in Athens. The location is in a small town near the airport. It is about ten minutes drive away from the airport. You can contact the landlord for a chargeable pick-up service. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are well decorated. Haha, the host is also very nice. He introduced the nearby supermarket, there are a lot of fruits in the refrigerator, the kitchen utensils are super complete, coffee and chocolate can be used casually, exceeding the expected listing! During the epidemic, I was very anxious about flight problems when I was playing in Greece, so I had a good night's sleep here.

I don't usually post negative reviews, but on this occasion, our stay was so bad at this hotel, that I felt the need to write this. We stayed at the Grand Lagonissi for 3 nights for a family wedding. Our room was a deluxe beach front bungalow, which by the way, looks fine on their website, but is not a reflection of the actual reality. The property is extremely dated with non-functional facilities. 3 of our 4 sockets didn't work and we there were no USB wall chargers. From the moment we entered the room we noticed a disgusting musty and damp smell. Immediately you could see that the room was filthy with dust and cobwebs everywhere. The lampshades were covered in dust and the table tops sticky. The grass outside in the so called 'garden area' was dirty and unkempt. The bathroom was even worse than the room, with a disctinct sulphur type smell coming from the toilet area. Broken tiles and paint peeling off were an added bonus. Things only got worse when we realised the towels had red ants crawling through them. On the first night we got back to our room following a wedding function only to find 12-15 mosquitoes on our ceiling. We called housekeeping who came and sprayed bug spray everywhere including the bed! We then asked them to clear up the dead bugs and change the bedding as my sister is allergic and has asthma and they refused! We ended up sleeping on the sofa that night. The next morning we waited for new housekeeping staff and asked them to change the bedding which had dead mosquitoes on it - they were very rude and refused. The lady made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. On top of this the air con wasn't working properly. The sofa and beds all have bed bugs. My sister and I have been bitten all over our bodies and have been to see the Dr since we got back home to get some treatment as the bites are so painful. Room service was also shambolic. We ordered some coffee to the room which took over 90 minutes to arrive. When we came back later that night the dirty cups were still there despite the turn-down service. When I called to complain, I was rudely told that housekeeping don't clear dirty crockery and it was our responsibility to call room service for collection. The beach front bungalows are not easily accessible from the main hotel. If you want to get anywhere you need to call a buggy which can take up to 20 minutes to arrive, sometimes not arriving at all. All in all if I could give this property a minus rating, I would. Rude staff, dated amenities, filthy rooms and a total disregard for customer service. Never again would I visit here and I would strongly discourage others from visiting. The Lagonissi is far from being grand.

The swimming pool will be cleaned up an hour after opening, you have to wait But the overall cost of the weekend is okay

Beautiful Hotel,Perfect Service and Excellent Breakfast Buffet. Our room on the third floor had a glorious sea view,the room was very clean and had every comfort needed.A big thank you to all the staff...very friendly and helpful and the pool area is fantastic.I would gladly come again.The beach is a couple of hundred metres from the Hotel and the Restaurants are fantastic. We were looking to book a hotel closer to the airport than Athens because we had a very early Morning flight home the next day. The price was very reasonable and the photos looked great so we decided to book it. There is no staff on site but they were very on top of texting us info on how to get into the building upon our arrival. We jumped on the Wi-Fi at the airport before heading out to make sure we had the codes before we left. It was about a 10 min drive and the building looks very new especially among the surrounding buildings. The room was very clean. This is just a basic room with basic needs. Perfect for your if you just need to sleep. It’s not in an area I would go walking around in necessarily it didn’t seem to have much nearby. We opted out of getting dinner because we were too tired to Uber anywhere. There was a coffee maker which I absolutely need in the morning with Nespresso which I love. The bathroom was basic but only had a handheld shower. You do have to good it to wash off. They offered shower gel only which was fine we had all of our shampoo and conditioner and soap. So if you need those things make sure to have them in hand. The building was very quiet which was great. This place worked if you aren’t looking for a fully functional hotel with all the amenities. It’s a great price for what you get.

Although a bit hard to find in the village (tip: don't use a GPS but Google Maps instead) we found it, of course on a hill ;o). We were helped by the owner of the small OK supermarket next to the main road. We arrived late in the evening so we could not see the surroundings. But the next morning we were pleasantly suprised. It is quiet, except for a few barking dogs. Very lovely, helpful and friendly owners, breakfast is simple and more then OK. The appartment has a communal living/breakfast room and a fully equipped kitchen with free thea and coffee supplies. Privacy enough. The room and bathroom were clean.

From the arrival in the hotel you feel welcomed already. The girl on the reception is giving you details about everything what you need during your stay with very big smile :). The room is having nice beds really good working air-condition and for overnight this is more then enough. A have ordered a transport for the next day and came very nice drive with very nice car. All the staff are speaking fluently at least English ( the girl speak also very good Russian). I can only recommend the hotel. Thank you!!!
