Seul bémol : je pense que la cuvette des toilettes mériterait d’être rénovée et le débit de la chasse d’eau contrôlé.

Advert/website deceptive. This NOT the quiet hotel surrounded in quiet grounds expected. It is situated between two very busy roads into Laval - the leafy/ivy fronted picture is deceptive. We arrived at 5pm ( it was dark) and the hotel entrance was not illuminated (so it seemed closed). Upon entry we were hit by a strong, most unpleasant sewage ( yes sewage !) smell. No lift and our room was on the first floor, no help with cases and awkward split level with WC up two steps off the bedroom and shower/ washroom up one step. The shower was OK but (as with most hotels) no grab/handrails for older doddery people and useless soap/shower gel dispenser. The sink cubicle had no towel rails nor enough space to put out toilet bags etc. The bed was a small double - but good lighting. The only positive feature of our stay was the restaurant and food which was EXCELLENT. VV good quality food, service and staff - nearly Michelin standards and extremely good value. We had €22 menu - starter, main course and dessert plus G&T, glass red wine and coffee - total cost €62 - v v good value. Breakfast good too. Stay again ? No definitely NOT. Overall mid 3* establishment minus 2* for sewage smell (=1*). NOT recommended; except worth a visit for the excellent restaurant. Pity !

Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel à la Bonne-Aubergne. La chambre était correcte et spacieuse, équipée d’une bouilloire à café et de plusieurs sachets de café & télévision. Tout était propre et bien entretenu. La salle de bain était également impeccable, avec de l’eau chaude et une excellente pression. L’accueil à la réception était super, vraiment agréable. Le petit déjeuner n’était pas inclus dans le tarif, que nous avons réservé sur Booking pour 88 francs. Le parking est gratuit, mais attention si vous avez une grosse voiture : le stationnement peut être un peu serré, surtout s’il n’y a pas de place à l’entrée. En allant au fond du parking, faites attention.

Un accueil sympathique ; cet hôtel mériterait un peu plus de 2 *. La chambre était confortable, de bonne taille et calme ; un parking gratuit est disponible et on peut aller dans le centre à pied (15 à 20 minutes). Je recommande cette adresse qui est une bonne solution pour faire une halte sur la route de la Bretagne.
