Lava Spa Motel & RV

A lot of people seem to like how close this property is to everything, but Lava really is not that big to begin with, so it really isn't a unique perk. The hotel is super rundown and in serious need of renovations. The walls were peeling/warped/water-damaged. The carpet was so old and dirty (my socks got dirty from walking around). There was visible water damage throughout the bathroom. There's hardly any parking. Our boxspring had a really obnoxious plastic wrap on it that 1) gave criminal tv show vibes 2) was really loud to sleep on. The beds were fine, not overly comfortable or uncomfortable. It was really expensive for what you get here (like 0 ammentities), and I wouldn't stay here again.

We like the location because we are traveling down to Salt Lake City and love to use Lava Hit Springs just across the street.

Good location. You know what you are getting when you drive up. The bed is comfortable. The room is very close to the Lava Hot Springs. 2 minute walk.

I have stayed at the Lava Hot Springs Motel several times over the past four years and this stay will be the last. The bath tub was dirty, there was an ant trap on the floor and the towel bar was hanging out of the wall. The walls were also dirty and in need of paint. The veneer on the head board was coming off and all the furniture was well used and appears to have been purchased at a garage sale. It was a neat spot, but sadly, it's no longer cared for.

I have been coming to this motel for over 20 years and I just wish they would do some improvements! Anything would help! The best thing about the place is that it is across the street from the Hot Springs.
