Fantastic find. We arrived by bicycle in Lauwersoog around 18:00 looking for somewhere to stay and got the last deluxe room. Kitchen staff stayed on a little later for us to eat in the bright restaurant overlooking the harbour. Our room was very comfortable with fantastic views of the harbour and the distant islands. Very comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. Secure bike store for our bicycles. Definitely would recommend, especially for cyclists

Pillows and bed very good, wonderful view (sea and harbour, also ferry to Schiermonnikoog) Excellent breakfast Easy to find a parking space in fromt of the back entrance personal helpful and friendly and obviously knowing and enjoying what they are doing room design very tasty and modern room definitely bif enough bath perfect

Warm welcome. Spacious hotel room with view on the harbour (2nd floor). It’s all new and very modern. No noise nuisance. Although you cannot open the window in the hotel room, the air in the hotel room was fresh. (Normally I hate it when you cannot open the window.) No self-service breakfast, which makes breakfast so more personal. The restaurant closes at 6.30 PM. So a lot of activity in the last hour before closure : a lot of eaters from everywhere. You can park your car for free behind the hotel (access via barrier). Despite the distance to Groningen, Leeuwarden and Dokkum, I would absolutely recommend this hotel because of the high standards and harbour view.

The harbor of lauwersoog is a special location to spend the night. The rooms of Schierzicht are lovely, fresh and clean, and with beautiful views. You can help yourself to tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly. They serve a great breakfast

Very nice room and a great breakfast. The hotel is perfectly situated when you like the sea or the dark sky park. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, lots of space. There was free coffee and tea and the restaurette was very good as well.

The room is spacious and clean, the beds are great, the view from the window is on the harbor and there behind (depending on the weather) you might see Schiermonnikoog. Furthermore the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (not included) is varied, delicious and more than enough.

Very comfortable stay. Very nice breakfast. Very good with kids. - Baby bed for our little one -modern Bath room - perfect view to the haven Very yummy fish at the restaurant ( Kibbeling and more) Lauwersoog Schierzicht Logement: a place to switch off from everyday life :-)

Comfortable room, clean and complete, good beds, comfortable shower, very friendly people and an incredible good breakfast. When you are planning a stay in Lauwersoog, this is the place to be! Especially recommended when you are planning an excursion on the waddenzee or to 1 of the islands.
