Airport-Hotel Fortuna

Exceptional service, friendly staff who are fluent in German and English. Helped us out with clean room at 3am when our flight was delayed. So welcoming, nothing too much trouble would HIGHLY recommend. Wonderful breakfast bar.

Family-like hotel, you are surely not in a multinational chain of hotel here and it's refreshing and pleasant ! Comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, bar-restaurant and the smile of the employees. What else do you need if you are an airport-worker ?

The staff here are the kindest and loveliest we’ve ever come across. We had a few issues and had to book this last minute, we arrived at midnight and checked in with the lovely receptionist. He was funny and kind and cheered us up after a hard day. We mentioned we hadn’t had dinner, and he offered to open the kitchen and cook us pizzas( this was after midnight). The food was lovely and all the amenities were as well. Rooms were lovely and warm and we both slept so well. We woke up to a beautiful snowy morning and had a wide selection for breakfast. Every staff member we met was so lovely. And the airport shuttle is so quick and useful. If we are ever here again there is no doubt we would come here again.

Stayed with my sister in this lovely airport hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from receptionist to dining room staff. Collected us from airport, provided us with hot drink and croissants on arrival. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Very clean comfortable room. Helped with travel arrangements to Trier. Excellent first class service. Many many thanks.

Arrived at Frankfurt Hahn airport last night unknowing that this was in fact not in Frankfurt and instead in the middle of no where! It was late at night so there was no taxis/buses/trains available to us, and it was very cold. After hours of trying, and failing, to get to Frankfurt, we walked a few minutes ourside the airport to this lovely hotel who still had some rooms available. We told them our situation, and mentioned we hadn’t eaten, and the lovely man behind the counter cooked us so pizzas to eat and some cups of tea, booked us into breakfast in the morning, got us some extra bedding and turned on out underfloor heating! It was absolutely lovely and made up for the horror we had just experienced when we arrived! Not only this, but the next morning the hotel drove us back to the airport for our bus. Amazing! The food was lovely, and they got out a selection of cheeses/meats and bread for us to make some lunch for the journey. The restaurant itself was extremely clean, looked almost like a wooden lodge with lots of stained glass decorations amongst other things. Absolutely beautiful and slept like a dream with the added bonus of waking up to snow the next morning. Couldn’t have given us better service!!
