Good environment. Good size room. Bedsheets come with slight black stain. Breakfast is the same every day. Horrible front desk service. Worst experience ever in my numerous trips to Switzerland and staying in different hotels. Requested reception to help book taxi to train station for early morning train to airport 2 days before departure. Reminded them evening before and was assured it has been done. Come time of pickup and no taxi came. Checked with reception and he said need to wait for taxi company to call back and need at least 20 minutes!! Requested him to expedite and he asked me to book uber myself!!!! Installed uber and got myself a vehicle and just in time for the train. Speechless

This hotel is very convenient for us as our son studies in EPFL and lives close by. Decent hotel at a very reasonable price I the area. Breakfast is a bit expensive for the spread. There is a nice bar at the Hotel Lobby. Most rooms have a view or at least partial view of the lake. The staff is polite and helpful.

Lausanne Starling Hotel is located in Lausanne, the capital of the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It is very close to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, a 5-minute walk away, and is close to the campus. The hotel facilities are very good and the environmental hygiene is excellent. Some of the guys at the front desk speak very poor English. It is recommended to ask for someone with better English to check in.

Came to EPFL to see my daughter. The room has a view of Lake Raymond. The hotel restaurant is good, the main course salmon is very delicious, the special seasoning plus the chef's homemade foie gras sauce is very delicate, this dish alone is worth coming back to taste.

I am not satisfied. It is a relatively low-quality hotel. There are only two pieces of facial tissue in a box. When I called for room service, no one answered. I called the front desk and asked me to wait ten minutes before calling again. Isn’t it enough for me to notify you when it arrives? Why do you have to wait ten minutes before calling? The room is small and the shower room leaks, making water all over the outside. The location is average, inside the university, there are no businesses around, not as convenient as EPFL subway station; outside the hotel is a village's farmland, I don't know what kind of fertilizer is applied, it is very smelly; it is a long way from the lake, difficult to see Lake view.

There was a little hiccup when checking in at the hotel, but it is commendable that Ctrip staff responded in time to help solve the problem even in the middle of the night. The hotel's software and hardware were quite satisfactory, and the breakfast was okay. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

We couldn't have made a better choice! The hotel is surrounded by greenery near the lake and the splendid university campus. The design room with all comforts. Free outdoor parking and covered parking for a fee. The hotel provides a free card for public transport, in 10 minutes you can reach the city center I advise. We will return.

I stayed for three nights, and overall it was good. The location is right next to EPFL, walking past is the Rolex learning center. In addition, there is bus 701 directly to Morges at the door, and bus 1 directly to Lausanne, Gare. The gym is on the ground floor of the third building. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is still good. There is a daily set menu Plat du Jour, which is still very professional. The room is not big, but it has everything you need. Overall, it is still very good. The attitude of the check out at the front desk is relatively indifferent, so I lost some points, but everything else is pretty good.

Room has a view. The breakfast is also quite rich and delicious. Shuttle buses can be booked. free. The transportation is also very convenient, you can take the subway when you walk to the nearby school.

It's right on the EPFL campus. You can see some lake views. The room is very spacious. I stayed here for more than 20 days and it felt great. On the last day, the old gentleman at the hotel arranged for us to be taken to the train station. Thank you very much.

Although it is a bit far from the train station, the environment of lakes and mountains is very good, EPFL is close at hand, and the Rolex Learning Center is great, modern and clean. Breakfast is a bit average.

The hotel is right across the road from EPFL. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Already stayed here 2 times.
