Located in an 18th century chateau, this hotel is tucked into the base of the hills that frame the Luberon valley. The grounds are massive, which include a large lawn that leads away from the main building, ornamental and herb gardens, vineyards, and a pool. Family-friendly hotel, which welcomed our one year old son for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (He was asleep by the time dinner rolled around, but he could have joined if he was still awake). They also gave us a winery stuffed animal in our room for him, which he carried with him for the rest of the trip. The winery is solid. Not exceptional, but great wine for what it is. We happily purchased some wine to bring home. The staff was excellent, going so far as to collect our luggage from our car and bring it to our room while we had a tour of the property. This type of service is typical of super luxury properties, but this hotel is far more reasonably priced, so the additional service was a welcome plus. If you stay here, you are a bit of a drive from the lavender fields, but you are close to Lourmarin (which is a bit of a tourist haven). The north side of the valley is about 40 minutes away by car, but is worth the drive.
