Best Hotels near Kath. Pfarramt, Laupheim

I booked this hotel to attend a nearby wedding in the afternoon. I booked it through *********** and my confirmation stated that I had booked two double bedrooms plus one extra person for each room. However, the hotel did not provide us with a sufficient number of beds. The double bedrooms had one bed each in it, German style, one frame and two 80cm mattresses. There was not enough space in either room for an additional bed. One of the bedrooms would have had enough floor space for one very small camping bed if you removed the chair. We begged with the receptionist to add a bed to allow us all to sleep that night but management refused. They offered us a junior suite with one double bed room and a sofa bed (120cm wide I think with one mattress) but told us that we would have to pay extra for an upgrade and the ”extra” bed that we allegedly had not paid for (irrespective of the *********** confirmation). I should note that after speaking with management the following morning that I was not charged for this upgrade but this didn't change how upset I was on the wedding day. The junior suite was a slightly better sleeping arrangement as it meant that people didn't roll off single mattresses but still not what I was expecting at all. My kids are 11, 9 and 7 and normal size for that age. A sofa bed of those dimension doesn't really work for them all but this seems to be this hotel's only ”solution” for a family with more than two kids. I was also alarmed by the receptionist's assumption that I could have slept with three babies in those double bedrooms with single mattresses non secured on the sides and a big gap between mattresses. This shows a clear lack of understanding how babies need to sleep safely. The double bedrooms we were given first were very small and despite 30 degrees heat did not have air con, a fan or the ability to create air flow. The staff/receptionists did not seem to know the hotel at all. None of the few questions we asked them were answered correctly. For example, they did not confirm the right charge for the hotel car park nor did they provide the right time for check in when I called them before our stay to confirm everything. It was clear to me that the hotel does not cater for families and does not read the booking notices/details they receive from guests/aggregators to ensure that their guests have enough sleeping space. And in German/und auf Deutsch: Uns wurden nicht genuegend Betten angeboten. Als wir dies dem Hotelmanagement/Rezeptionspersonal mitteilten, gaben sie uns die Schuld. Wir haetten angeblich die falschen Zimmer bestellt. Wir hatten ueber *********** als Familie mit fuenf Personen gebucht (so wie immer), bekamen aber nur zwei Doppelbetten (mit jewals 80cm Matratze auf beiden Seiten des Doppelbettes). Management hat sich geweigert, ein Zustellbett fuer unser drittes Kind bereitzustellen, obwohl unsere Buchungsbestaetigung ueber *********** angab, dass beide Doppelzimmer fuer drei Personen geeig

Grundsätzlich schätzen wir das Konzept sehr. Eine angenehme Temperatur zum Schlafen ist mir aber auch sehr wichtig. Und das heisst, unter 20 Grad. Leider ist das in Ulm aktuell ein wenig schwer. Entweder man lässt das Fenster offen, was bei dieser zentralen Lage nicht optimal ist, oder man stellt die Lüftung an. Diese aber nur ab 25 Grad, also im Heizungsmodus. Reaktion der Rezeption, das sei korrekt so, man könne dies auch nicht umstellen. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, nicht akzeptabel. Wir haben in der Folge ein Zimmer im 4. OG, in den Hof, erhalten. Dort konnte man die Fenster problemlos offen lassen. Trotzdem bleibt ein ungutes Gefühl. Bis jetzt hatten wir diesbezüglich keine Probleme mit Motel One… überlasst es doch bitte den Gästen, welche Temperatur sie bevorzugen. Bevormundungen sind nichts für mich…

To summarize Hotel Zeppelin: a very service minded staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms and tasteful breakfast! Arriving late in the evening it was easy to use the self service automate to find our reservation, check in and get our Hotel keys by ourselves. The hotell looked newly renovated and the location was good for the aim of our stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the wooden details in bathroom, room and breakfast hall made the atmosphere warmer and more cozy than most hotels. Decent size on the room. The breakfast was tasty and delicately prepared. It had a good choice of different options with a very friendly and service minded staff. The lady even provided private transport for us when it was not possible to get a taxi Sunday morning!! it's really service beyond what I had ever expected and it saved us from 45 minutes walk with heavy luggage. Thank you very much!

We have chosen Blues this year as a middle stop to Austria. Authentic houses, beautiful monastery and an impressive blue lake can be found back in Blues. We stayed 1 night at Hotel Ochsen. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We found the evening dinner rather poor. Also during the breakfast buffet we missed a warm dish (BV Spek, Eggs, ...). The room was spacious and clean but already some date. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, so everything is really to reach at walking distance.

This is the best hotel experience I ever had. Truly wonderful place with so much details that constantly put the smile on your face. Beautiful welcoming a**osphere, clean, you have everything you need, stuff is great. It can be tricky to find it easily, but even if you get lost community of worldwide kids at the back of hotel will make your soul richer. Thank you for adding to my son's birthday experience. ❤️
