Came on a Saturday to visit friends who stayed here for lunch (I've stayed here many times myself over the decades, last a year ago) and decided to go to the spa before, and also went to the beach. Great, beautiful location and a warm sea with an empty beach - very nice! Then the spa experience - wholesome, kids and families but not loud, great water temperature, all spotlessly clean, and wonderful outdoor pool and the best onsen (strangely underused) in Tallinn. Five points for each! But the restaurant situation is terrible. Wicca, the accoladed one on the first floor, is now permanently closed for lunch, as is the restaurant Verde which is also upstairs. But open for breakfast and dinner. So we were forced to eat downstairs in a very drafty, cafeteria-style place with a steady march of conference attendants walking through, basically a mediocre lobby restaurant. You need to order at the bar; even if in a wheelchair (that happened to someone else), you're supposed to get your menus yourself! If you sit down and wait, you wait forever, as nobody will tell you. The food itself - after ambiance and service are one point - is surprisingly good, if not really "good". I'd say three points. The steak was just too tough, but altogether things were credible. But EUR 10.50 for a small glass of street wine and EUR 7 for fries (not great fries) is, even for Tallinn, a ripoff. This was a gastro destination once; for lunch, I can only say, best bring your own sandwiches and eat at the beach. Which is great, as is the spa.

PROS: Beautiful location, nice breakfast with good coffee. SPA center experience was great - we went to pool and saunas every evening. I took quite a few massages, all were great. Beautiful surroundings. CONS: Restaurant was quite expensive, also cafeterias that are around the area. Beds were really narrow. I was traveling with my daughter, we had a twin room with two beds. I could barely fit on it. Room was quite small for people who are not a couple. I would return though since I had good time overall.

On my trip to Estonia, I stayed in three hotels: Sagadi Manor Hotel and Hotel Kentmann in Tallinn. I was really satisfied with the first two hotels. La Spa was supposed to be the highlight of the trip, being the most expensive and highly praised hotel. The room rate reflected this expectation. However, La Spa was a disappointment. We were given room 1412, which had industrial views. The balcony door couldn't be kept open due to noise from some machinery on the roof. We managed to change rooms because of the noise, though to a lower-quality one. The hotel reception staff didn't have the authority to offer any compensation, despite the room being marketed as much better than it actually was. We only received a business card with an email address to send our feedback. The email didn't work, and we couldn't send any pictures. The hotel's email just kept returning an error, stating that the delivery failed. The view from room 1429 was just as bleak as the one from room 1412. The toilet was broken and kept running, but closing the door made the noise bearable. La Spa promised more than it delivered. The beds were at least comfortable, but feeling deceived doesn't offer much consolation.

Yes the rooms are a little tired but the beds and bedding are genuinely wonderful. We slept so well. How lovely to have a sunny balcony overlooking the sea. (The little private beach a 2 minute walk away is delightful!) Pool and sauna area were great (not so keen on the large group of women hogging the jacuzzi but the hot Japanese bath was infinitely nicer anyway!) The bar / restaurant area had a nice vibe with families and groups and couples all enjoying food and drinks. Food was good and service was quick and easy. We would love to come back.

The location is pretty, however I was charged extra for nothing because of misleading information on their website. When I asked about the extra fee at the reception, they acknowledged the mistake and informed me that the extra charge would be removed. The next morning I was surprised to see that the extra charge was applied anyway, and that this decision was made by the manager who wasn't available at the time, so they couldn't do anything about it. The poor customer service left us with a bitter experience.

I visited Laulasmaa SPA first time in my life. The hotel was clean, the pillows where fluffiest ones so you could adjust them how you want. The brekfast was super good and choice was wide. I loved special healthy juices they had done. The lobby cafe had a wide choice of cakes. Spa has different saunas and bubble baths. The area around the house is nice: beach and pine trees. I did not find anything to complain over! All was super good! I reccomend!

Kitchen is absolutely wonderful. Both in cafe and breakfast. They differ from everyone else with their choice. Food on the plate is very thought out. Breakfast has wide choice of special stuff such as curcuma powder, sprouts, homemade juices, cinnamon, homemade smoothies etc. Staff is friendly and helpful, but cafe setup could use some improvement. Lift noise was not pleasant in the morning.

We visited the LaSpa hotel and stayed in a renovated beach house. It has to be said that the high price of the room was not particularly justified. Would have expected a more innovative, inviting environment and more furnishings in the lobby of the beach house. When checking in at the hotel, you had to ask the reception staff yourself several questions (where to get breakfast, how to get around). In addition, the dinner experience at Liiv resto was bad, there was no service of any kind, the young girls couldn't answer questions (no knowledge of the products) and it took an awfully long time. In addition, it was not possible to sit at a table in the restaurant as a foreign guest was listening loudly to Spanish videos in the middle of the restaurant.... so dinner had to be eaten on low couches. None of the waiters asked about the situation or offered any solutions. The waitress at breakfast was intrusive and immediately demanded an answer as to whether we would like something from the side menu or find what we needed in the buffet. We arrived quite early for breakfast and this kind of pestering was not pleasant. Finally, I asked about feedback forms when checking out of the hotel. I was told there was one on the website, but unfortunately could not find it there. All in all, poor customer service overshadowed the overall experience and it was difficult to find a sense of well-being.
