Great budget hotel On arrival, I had a challenge due to my phone being water damaged and as the gate was locked I had to contact reception via phone to gain access to the key lock box. The number advertised to call wouldn't work, I had to remove the 00 and replace with a +. I could just about make out the key code from the voice on the other end of the phone, room number and floor. Upon checking in the room, I found it spacious and considerably clean, it was around 10:30pm on arrival and ventured into town for a quick bite to eat, which only takes 5-10 mins walk. The room doesn't have an oven, but an electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Luckily I'd packed my travel iron as the room didn't have one. On the morning I ventured to the beach, again only 5 mins away. I spent most days on the beach as I'm not a pool person but the pool area looked fine. You have two keys, one for the main gate and one for your room. Be careful not to forget your key as your door looks behind you. I asked reception for a fan and one appeared. My room was cleaned 6/7 days. I only noticed on the last night that the main TV didn't work, but as I've not watched TV I wanted to catch up on the local news. The bedroom also has a TV. Most people Ive spoke with have all said it's a decent hotel and great location, just a little dated. But I've stayed in much worse before and overall I would return for the location. I travelled solo, felt very safe in this hotel. I emailed prior to arrival directly with the hotel and arranged any floor but the ground floor. This enabled me to keep the doors open at night for fresh air. But the room didn't get to hot. You got used to the fans going off at the neighbours hotel. There's a supermarket very close by that I'd use for water and snacks. Upon check out 11am, I was given a key to reception as the door would be locked to enable me to gain access to my suitcase case, shower, loo and a towel. Overall, give this place a chance if your after a central, no fuss holiday. I will book again as mentioned. Staff are helpful and the phone is always answered. Many thanks for my wonderful stay.

We travelled as a family of 5 with myself, my husband & 3 children of 10 & 15 years old Good points Great location 5 minute walk to yumbo & 10 minute walk to the main beach & restaurants Secure apartments as you needed a key card to access the main gates to get into the apartments . Lots of storage in the bedrooms for clothing and comfortable bed Modern comfortable apartments which were quiet Sun beds always available anytime of day & comfortable to lie on Good selection of food and drink at the pool bar Supermarket right behind the apartments by walking up the stairs by the pool and has a good selection of products The pool has steps at the shallow end where you can walk in which was perfect for me as I have mobility issues. The pool water was a nice temperature and not freezing cold. Even though the pool isn’t massive it was rarely over crowded No smoking around the pool area Bad points Towels were only changed 3 times in 14 days . Some of the towels that were meant to be clean had dirt on them. We had to go to reception and ask for clean towels every other day. The apartment was only cleaned twice in 2 weeks and the cleaners barely cleaned the rooms . The cleaners never cleaned the bathroom at all and when I asked for clean towels I was told no. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven just a microwave and a hob with 2 rings so we ate out most days which worked out expensive No air conditioning just ceiling fans so we had to hire and air conditioning unit costing £160 euros. The air conditioning unit worked well and i couldn’t have coped with the heat without it. The ceiling fan only has one remote so everyone in both bedrooms has to have the fan on the same setting. There isn’t a fan in the living room area. The shower was very temperamental and most of the time we couldn’t get any warm water so we ended up with cold showers The pool has to many rules it’s like the no fun pool. No inflatables , no balls and no jumping in the pool. All you could do was swim which wasn’t much fun for the kids. Don’t sit near the pool bar side of the pool as there was a horrible smell of poop 💩 Local teenagers using the pool in the late afternoon there was around 20 teenagers who weren’t staying at the apartments which stopped us using the pool as it got over crowded Food wasn’t available at the pool bar for around 1 week of our stay as the chef was ill and they have no staff to cover her illness. If it was slightly overcast the pool bar wasn’t opened We had a great time at the apartments but probably wouldn’t come back until they had air conditioning, a better kitchen & cleaned more regularly

The apartment can cook for yourself, the sofa can be opened for 2 people, suitable for children, the location is OK, 2.6 km from the pedestrian street and 500 meters from the largest shopping area.

It's a very comfortable, relaxing, hygienic and quiet B&B. It's just a few minutes' walk from the beach. I'm satisfied with everything!

Basic hotel, cheap, and somewhat dated, but all I needed was a place to sleep while my husband was in hospital close by. Was clean, bathroom was spoiled by the toilet seat being at an angle and shifted suddenly when sat upon. Rather noisy, but city centre, so it came with the territory. Staff were friendly but fairly casual. My main problem was I initially booked for one night, as I had the offer of a room attached to the hospital, but I didn't know when that would be available to me. I explained the situation in my somewhat broken Spanish, and was offered another couple of nights at the hotel. I agreed to one more night, and paid for it. However a couple of hours later (and a couple of hours after hotel check out time) I was contacted by the hospital and offered a room, which was perfect for me. I told Hotel Valencia what had happened, and I would be checking out immediately. I'd expected a refund or at least a part refund as I hadn't stayed for the second night, although the room had been serviced that morning (still with the toilet seat from hell!) But no, no offer of a refund as a sign of goodwill just a casual goodbye. I realise technically they were within their rights to keep my payment but I was disappointed that they didn't waive my bill in view of my very stressful circumstances. Very disappointed at their attitude.

Just back from a week here. Thought I’d give an honest review. Positives *Really really handy to shops, restaurants and the beach * good sized pool * you can also use the pool at sister complex 2 mins away * rooms cleaned regularly with clean towels delivered * two receptionists are so lovely *has a hob, kettle, pots and pans and cutlery and crockery * we were super lucky and managed to get a late check out from our room and they didn’t even charge which I think is incredible Negatives * appt in need of some renovations- walls need lick of paint and curtains, sofa bed covers need replaced * sound proofing not the best * one receptionist stands out from rest as quite abrupt but other two make up for it * reception is in camel springs not in this block but this didn’t affect us and there was an emergency number should you need it. * if you need a hairdryer or iron just ask at reception. I saw them delivering to people. Looked at pictures and think there obviously make it look new but roughly accurate. Overall I think for the price we were really pleased and we would def go back if we can get another cheeky cheap holiday.
