The location and garden is lovely. Rooms are rather old but clean and nice. Breakfast was really good but dinner was not. We waited 1.5 hours to get a cold tasteless burger and cold pasta with very fat creamy sauce. Would not recommend for dinner. Also prices are higher compared to restaurants in the area. Service was mostly kind. We really appreciated that we were allowed to reduce our stay by 2 nights. Overall would recommend this place for a few nights to visit this lovely and remote area in Dom.Republic.

We chose Sava for it’s beautiful setting and ambiance and based on a previous visit in 2019. Unfortunately this visit was ruined by a terribly slow service and inattentive staff. While we were a table of 12 and understandably a large order the service staff never approached us to apologize and / or check on our needs. We approached the staff on 3 occasions, twice with a manager, to demand an update and eventually be acknowledged. Our demanda were met with excuses of new staff (both server and cook). Our quick stop for lunch before the beach dis not result as we anticipated. While restaurants can suffer delays and have a rush, the lack of response from the management in this establishment was unforgiving.

I was on a solo birding trip to the SW of the Dominican Republic, and wanted lodging close to some of the excellent coastal birding sites in the area. Sava Salinas fit the bill. My room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast on the patio were lovely, since the patio offers a view of the bay. The gardens of the hotel are quite pleasant. I would stay here again if I found myself in the area. It is especially convenient to be this close to Punta Salinas.

This hotel has an amazing location, right in front of a quiet beach and with the entrance to the sand dunes park on its back. You cannot find a better place to stay if you want to visit the sand dunes. This would be a really amazing hotel if it wasn't for a couple of annoying things: we tried the hotel restaurant but the waiting time was incredibly long and while we were waiting on that nice table overlooking the beach and the ocean we were badly bitten by very small and silent mosquitos that locals call "jejenes", the staff was aware of the risk but did not care to inform us. When I started to inquire about those insects they provided us with a bug repellent but that was too late.

The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities that is necessary for a complete stay the staff are very friendly the rooms are super clean however the food is overpriced with automatic surcharge and gratuity the property is located right on a bay not swimmable but beautiful scenery great for a couple

Die Lage ist schön, jedoch ist das ganze Gebiet mit kleinen schwarzen Mücken "Jenjen" überfüllt. Die beissen wie der Teufel. Das Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein, es wird nicht gereinigt. Poolwasser trübe und überchlort, keine Abwechslung im Hotel Preis/ Leistung negativ !!
