Best Hotels near Love buses sightseeing tour stop, Larnaca

I booked a cheap hotel as I only needed it to sleep and shower in as I was out everyday. You pay for what you get. However the amount of stress caused on check in I was not prepared for. I understand reservations may not appear for many different reasons so I have more patience and understanding than most, however to be told on check in there’s a piece of scrap paper saying I’ve been moved to another hotel 40mins drive away, when I was told their was rooms available, with no proper documentation and I have to pay for the taxi and somehow claim it back from some person tomorrow, then met with a shoulder shrug when I said no just isn’t ok. I spent all evening trying to sort out the check in. Communication failed terribly in this occasion. I was left to sit and basically deal with my reservation myself for 4 1/2 hours talking to the company I booked with, not knowing If I was getting a room here or not and looking for other places to stay. To find out there was a problem with the payment, which if I was told from the beginning it could have been dealt with a lot quicker and reduced the stress of trying to be sent to another hotel, not knowing if they actually had my booking. A lot of reassurance points were missed. Which wasn’t a great start to my holiday. However on another note, This hotel has huge potential and I don’t think the owners realise. It just needs some some TLC, with its location being 5mins from the airport, the beach out side, ***** of restaurants 30 seconds away, volley ball, water sports on the beach out front and 2mins walk from the bus stop to larnaka centre (or 30/40min walk) and only a 5min walk to the salt lake. The actual hotel needs some love and work to it. With the partnership it has with last minute.com and potentially others, it could do really well and stand a very good chance in the market. Just some advice , Get the pool and upstairs bar fixed so it’s suitable for leisure guests when they come next summer. As it stands you wouldn’t be able to relax in the hotel during the day. The lobby area is lovely and spacious, the decorations and branding is simplistic which is nice. The outside of the hotel looks lovely with the huge flamingo. Do up the bedrooms, get the showers fixed, re paint, fix the door handles , make it look fresh like the photos advertised. When you get more guests coming , then focus on re designing the breakfast buffet, so there’s more of a selection. Then focus on customer service and making it feel warm. Let people aware you have made changes and ask the guests to leave reviews, better your chances of new business and more money. As people read reviews before staying. Look at the surrounding market and competition, what are your USP’s ?, where do you stand out?. It’s such a shame to see a hotel with potential go to waste. I hope the owners see this and start to put some love into the hotel.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. We booked a senior suite and it was stunning with a sitting area as well as a bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The large bathroom has a large powerful shower and a jacuzzi bath. The decor throughout was lovely and the graffiti outstanding. Although on a busy road road soundproofing in the rooms worked perfectly. Breakfast had plenty of choice and we had a drink in the bar one evening and it was comfortable, the service was good and prices reasonable. If there is a slight snag it is car parking as the car park is tiny. Having said that we were able to park there and although we got blocked in the staff were very helpful and made sure the car was moved. Staff were all very good and helpful and although the hotel is not right by the sea it is a short walk even for someone with a bad knee(which I have at the moment). In short I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and we will certainly be back.

LOCATION: located in the heart of the city center and walkable from all key attractions & points of interest DINE + DRINK: The hotel’s signature restaurant serves fine Mediterranean cuisine and functions as the breakfast place too. ROOM: We stayed in Room 504, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet view of the cityscape from the nice balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Spa quality Toiletries FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines good enough for a decent workout. They also have a rooftop swimming pool SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home, and well taken care of. I stayed at Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini for a week in October together with a group of 8 who were visiting Cyprus for a cycling week. I was the only non-cyclist in the group. We arrived mid-evening, tired. Check-in was quick and easy and we were offered a welcome drink. My husband and I were given room 215. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious with ample storage space and plenty of room to set down our suitcases. There was a large wardrobe and some shelves. The room had air con, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, large bottle of mineral water (which was replenished each day), telephone, room safe, large wall mounted TV, mini fridge, ironing board (with iron available on request, I think). Most of the sockets in the room take English style plugs without the need of an adaptor. The room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The temperatures in October was around 30 degrees each day but our balcony was often in the shade which was just perfect. Our room faced the main road so was a little noisy during the rush-hour. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the pool at the back. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a walk in shower, lots of shelf space to set down your bathroom bag, etc. There was a hairdryer and a few complimentary toiletries. The hotel’s public areas were modern and inviting. There was an indoor bar, outdoor bar (offering well-priced cocktails with happy hour each evening). There was a good sized pool and a children’s pool. There were ample loungers for sunbathing and a lot of tables and chairs outdoors for eating and drinking. There is a pool menu which was very good and well-priced. The restaurant is on the ground floor where we had breakfast each morning. There was an ample choice of hot and cold buffet. Dinner was €18 per person for three courses. We found that food portions in Cyprus were usually quite large. The hotel has a gym which was quite small but well stocked with a good selection of equipment. The hotel offers 2 or 3 excursions most days. I took 3 excursions during my stay and they were good and well-priced. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accommodating of our group.

Good value. Rooms very clean and bright.we had a small balcony . Nice staff. Good breakfast. Swimming pool. Twenty minutes walk from centre.. Tv has a few international channels. Air con works .This is quite large on five floors of rooms .Has a restaurant

Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights. I liked everything - the room is spacious, bright, the bed is comfortable, there is a table for work and a refrigerator. The location is top, close to both the sea and the center. Minus - very small bathroom, cramped

I just wanted to say thank you to E Hotel and their amazing staff!!! For looking after us, after our Easyjet flight was cancelled!! The amazing staff there: Preet, Love, Yanis the hotel manager & Nicholetta were all instramental in making our stay amazing!! Yanis is also a real credit to the hotel along with his staff. Freindly, funny and above all go out of their way to make sure you are looked after and happy!! Thank you so much guys your amazing!! Love from the bloody english crew! lol.

I was very pleased with staying there. I can't say one bad word about about the hotel. Very nice staff, nice place, beautiful swimming pool, good prices at the bar for refreshment, cozy outside area for eating. If somebody like me, likes cats, that would be perfect hotel for them as there are locally cared street cats close by in a green area, which keeps rats and bugs away.

This is our 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, & I have rebooked for next year to stay here. Staff are very helpful & polite, It is very clean can't any faults. for us this hotel is very good location as we have family in Cyprus & not far from the airport. the only problem is the TV as I only had mange to get one channel to work & that is the BBC news, hopefully by next year when I come I get a better improved TV but its not the end of the world. (just like to watch some Greek soaps) who ever goes to Cyprus I find this is the hotel to stay at.

Bereits 2017 waren wir sehr angetan vom Hotel und auch dieses Jahr war alles super! Wie kommen jedes Jahr ins Golden bay und genauso wieder 2023! Das Essen und die Lage sind super! Generell die Ambiente hat einen hohen Wohlfühlfaktor! Der Tennisplatz ist auch hammer! Diesen muss man vorreservieren und Hotelgäste können diesen kostenfrei nutzen!
