Holiday Inn Express Mill Valley San Francisco Area

Rooms clean, quiet even though so close to 101 Freeway. Convenient to dwntn Mill Valley, Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. A facility we will return to for a longer stay.

Noises at night very disturbing. Not human but mechanical noise.

The property itself was nice, but the stay overall was terrible. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and the first night we heard our upstairs neighbors stomping around beyond 1am. The floors/ceilings at this facility must be quite thin. Kindly enough we were allowed to change to an upstairs room the next day, but that night our next-door neighbors were obnoxiously loud until beyond 2am. This facility must have very thin walls as well. We didn't sleep well at all either night and you'd think with how much a stay is at this location per night, the property itself would be a bit more robust in regards to sound proofing. In addition, my wife is over 6 months pregnant and a good nights sleep is very important in regards to her overall health and well being during this time, especially when traveling. Highly disappointed in our stay at this location and we wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay at this facility, unless they could guarantee that there is no one above them or next to them.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating. The kids love the pool, breakfast was great, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
