Beautiful château in a lovely setting. Jack and Danielle were great hosts (and of course Merlin the dog was beautiful & well behaved). Our room had a lovely view and was a good size. The bathroom was small but perfect. I was worried we would be cold over night as we had just come from Spain but the bedding was perfect & we both slept soundly. We had the charcuterie in the evening which was outstanding - really lovely local spread of meats & cheeses. A nice selection of local wines as well. We had the continental breakfast which again was lovely. You can have a cooked breakfast for a small extra price which looked & smelled amazing. Sadly we we’re only there for one night so didn’t get to use the pool which looked very inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fabulous! What a gem for a one-night stop off travelling through France - we wish we’d booked for longer. Beautifully decorated, luxurious toiletries, generous size rooms, lovely little pool with comfortable sun loungers, excellent food and drink choices and really welcoming, Accommodating hosts. To our mind, perfection.

From outside is a chateaux from inside it looks like a cheap provincial English barn. a bunch of aggressive, uneducated people trying to be hosts .Most of the reviews here are fake or from their friends. Not recommend you to go there unless you want to be insulted.

Had an overnight stay here on the way back to Calais from Spain. We are sorry that it was only one night. Couldn't wish for a warmer welcome from Jake and Danielle. Although there is still work to be done in the Chateau, the rooms they have completed are beautiful. A special thanks to Jake for providing a portable air conditioner !!! We enjoyed a fantastic dinner ,cooked by Graham and enjoyed hearing about the family's adventures so far and their plans for the future. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chateau de Bruges and hope to return one day.

Wonderful place & people. Such a nice project to renovate a chateau like this. Happy to have chosen this place on our way to south, and will definitely do the same in the future. Happy to spent a night here and support locals!! All the best Danielle, Jake & Graham!

Danielle, Jake and Graham are the most welcoming people. Rooms are great. Dinners with the 3 of them will remain our best memories. Special recommendation for the legendary meringue lemon pie from the top chef (musician and singer) Graham

A wonderful Chateau in Central France run by a most welcoming and hospitable family, Graham, Jake and Danielle. The rooms were tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed a delicious family dinner prepared by Graham. This was one of best overnight stays on our 6 week tour around France. The breakfast was delicious, highlighting local produce. Overall, I cannot praise this B&B highly enough. We whole heartedly recommend this establishment and hope to return one day in the future.

We had a wonderful night’s stay at chateau de Bruges, I wish we had longer to enjoy the warm hospitality of Jake, Danielle and Graham! They were so accommodating for our very late arrival and Graham had dinner prepared for us on arrival which was superb! Our room was immaculate and so well designed- we found out Danielle had done a lot of the upholstering and it brought the whole room together! We had a comfortable nights sleep even with a downpour outside, it was perfectly quiet inside! On waking we had a beautiful continental breakfast included with fresh local pastries and meats and cheeses which set us up for our long drive back to Bordeaux! Thank you to the team (and Merlin and curious!) for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area to pick chateau de Bruges!

Great place, beautiful setting. We could not ask for a nicer layover. If you travel between London and Barcelona- this is the perfect halfway stop. Friendly hosts - everything was perfect. It is near a lovely french village so not remote at all - loved our stay and will come again!
